A NIGHT WITH ADIDAS, ASOS AND CONFIDENCE MAN AT THE SUPERSTAR BLOCK PARTY

To celebrate the latest adidas Superstar drop – and officially say sayonara to summer in style – we threw a party with adidas at London’s 180 The Strand with some of our favourite influencers and tastemakers in their hottest ‘fits and adidas trainers (of course). This wasn’t just any party – inspired by vibrant city block parties, it was a melting pot of incredible music (did someone say Confidence Man?!), beauty to-go and first-hand feels of adidas’ freshest pieces. The ultimate end-of-summer party was a one-stop shop for everything – and we mean everything. We transformed 180 Studios into a monochrome metropolitan: you could grab a bite at the café, take a photo in the studio, get your nails done at the beauty bar, browse the wall of Superstars and get a late-night snack at the newsagent around the corner – all Superstar-branded, obviously. Thought we were done? Heading downstairs meant stepping into blinding lights, a fashionable crowd and a stellar set from Confidence Man – where the night really kicked off.

THE MUSIC

Benji Blunt custom-made Janet Planet's trainers, transforming the chunky-soled Superstars into low-profile icons.

We tapped the shoulder of Australian electro-pop band Confidence Man for a live performance – and they went totally in. Armed in the latest adidas gear and powered up under a glistening adidas X ASOS disco ball, they gave us an hour of hit after hit – and yes, I Can’t Lose You sounds even better in person. Tina says it was epic.

THE BEAUTY BAR

Giving a whole new meaning to party nails.

Tooth gems? Check.

Every beauty base was covered. To give our guests the luxury treatment, we sectioned off a Superstar salon space where they could glam up with Face + Body essentials. Getting party-ready at the party is officially the way to do it – talented nail techs delivered fresh sets and tooth gem artists sparkled up smiles all night long. Plus, we handed out free samples to our guests so they could take a piece of the party home.

But of course, the biggest highlight was the ‘fits. The only rule? Show up in adidas. From streetwear to Scandi-core and elevated basics, no aesthetic or outfit combo was off limits. The boldest guests showed up in customised Superstars – think scribbled signatures, thick laces and silver charms – proving that they're the perfect sneakers to personalise.
