These two looks couldn’t be timelier, given we’re edging towards autumn with startling abandon. Everything about these get-ups is classic and fresh in equal measure, from the well-cut wool trousers to the seasonal browns and polished shoes. School uniform always comes knocking at fashion’s door during this time of year – and classroom-friendly shoes are set to dominate our footwear lineups for the latter part of 2025 – so Pedro and Chris are dishing out some valuable inspo. The question is, to brogue or to loafer? A dilemma as old as time.

A VISION IN RED

When Chris de Burgh wrote Lady in Red, he probably wore something like this. Despite being a bold choice (particularly for something as sharp as a tailored suit) cool-based cherry tones are easy to style and surprisingly timeless – as proven here by Hollywood’s most fashionable co-stars. Pedro practically stopped the internet with his leg-baring ensemble, and Chris makes a case for the more conservative approach to colour-block dressing. Whichever you choose, this alternative take on your typical occasionwear is sure to leave a lasting impression.

OFF-DUTY, ON TREND

Now we’re really talking. Supermodels like Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber may take all the credit for off-duty style, but let’s not sleep on the guys. Chris and Pedro both prove that casual doesn’t have to mean boring – opting for quality cuts and elevated basics to make even the most unbothered wall perch look effortlessly stylish. And as we head to the departure lounge, Pedro makes a case for jeans at the airport. They might not be best for the long-haul, but on a short layover? An outfit this crisp is worth checking in.

DARK SUITING

Another juicy bit of seasonal style inspo, the rich tones on these suits are the kind of delectable autumn tailoring we’ll be reaching for as the weather turns. From Chris’ corduroy co-ord to Pedro’s alt-belt moment, both of these looks feel expensive, elevated yet infinitely wearable. The best part about a great two-piece is the mix-and-match potential, so you can roll out either the top or bottom half at more casual appointments, too.

A SHADE WITH LEGS

We're rounding up this dapper duo with an unexpected leg moment. Both Chris and Pedro have proved they’re no strangers to a bright tone, and these looks are no different. We love the use of a colourful trouser to mix up an otherwise understated outfit, and earthy green is a great option as we transition to cooler temperatures. Balance the look with a minimal top half, like Pedro’s plain white tee or Chris’ cosy cardigan, to ensure you don’t go overboard on the brights. Trust us, this is a trend with serious legs.
