Even in bed, if you don’t mind mucky sheets.

So the concept is simple, but the execution is expert – exactly what you might expect from a brand that celebrates its eleventy-first birthday this year. The 247 embraces the best bits of New Balance’s technical running hits and weaves them into a modern design built for nothing more exerting than looking nice.

The latest incarnation of this streamlined silhouette sees it reupholstered with fresh new fittings for the summer months. Mesh toeboxes earn the pack its ‘Breathe’ moniker, while the delightfully named colourways – like ‘Sherbet’ and ‘Mint Cream’ – ensure the styles on offer are sweet as. 

Stay on a similar flex with tailored joggers, a curved-hem T-shirt and a half-zip popover jacket (remember, this ’fit’s meant to last you through to the wee hours). Alternatively, add a little old-but-new in there with the texture of today – cord – then get tricky on the layering up top with two different tees for a look you’ll want to keep on all week.
