What You Need To Know:

We love running promotions for you guys and we want to be as clear as possible on how you enter and the prizes are drawn. Please read the nuts and bolts below and if you’ve still got any questions just contact win@asos.com.

  1. We know that there are ASOS lovers all around the world and this promotion is open to anyone aged 16 or over. So that we are completely fair, this is promotion is void where local national laws prohibit or restrict participation, and anyone professionally connected to ASOS are not allowed to enter.
  2. You don’t have to buy anything to take part in this promotion but you do need access to the internet and a valid Instagram account.
  3. Promotion Period:Between 08.00 GMT on the 23rd November 2018 and 23.59 GMT on the 26th November 2018 there will be four Competition Periods as follows:

    Following each Competition Period 1 winner will be selected to win a prize. So keep your eye on that watch!

    To Enter: Entering this promotion is simple either:
    1. ASOS Bags: Log into your Instagram account (or create one for free) then follow @asos, and comment underneath to tell us how many ASOS bags you saw in the post during the ASOS Bag Period to be entered into the competition.
    2. Trainers: Log into your Instagram account (or create one for free) then follow @asos, and comment underneath to tell us how many trainers you saw in the post during the Trainer Period to be entered into the competition.
    3. Puffa Jackets: Log into your Instagram account (or create one for free) then follow @asos, and comment underneath to tell us how many puffa jackets you saw in the post during the Puffa Jacket Period to be entered into the competition.
    4. Hats: Log into your Instagram account (or create one for free) then follow @asos, and comment underneath to tell us how many hats you saw in the post during the Hat Period to be entered into the competition.

  4. Please make sure you continue to follow @asos after the end of the Promotion Period and your Instagram profile is set to public so we can contact you if you’re selected as the winner.
  5. Sorry, but you may only enter once per Competition Period, for a total of four entries. If you do happen to enter multiple times, we’ll count your first entry but any others will be ignored.
  6. The Prizes: Four winners (one winner per competition) in total will each win a £1000 ASOS voucher to be used on www.asos.com.

  7. Further information on using ASOS Gift Vouchers:
    1. The gift voucher must be redeemed when placing an order in GBP.
    2. The winner will receive an individual gift voucher code via email to register it to their ASOS account as credit. An ASOS account will need to be set up to use the gift voucher (if the winner hasn’t done this already).
    3. To pay with ASOS gift vouchers, you'll need to change your country preferences to the UK to pay in GBP by selecting the flag in the top right hand corner of our website.
    4. If you don't change the country first, you'll not be able to pay with our voucher and your bag will empty when you switch to the UK at the checkout stage.
    5. Unless otherwise limited or prohibited by law, the gift voucher will have its own expiry date of 24 months from the date of issue. The expiry date will be made clear when the voucher is sent to the winner.
    6. Gift vouchers can be used as part or full payment against eligible items on the ASOS websites (this does not include ASOS Marketplace or the purchase of other ASOS gift vouchers).
    7. Unless otherwise required by law, no cash refunds will be given but any balance remaining on the gift voucher is locked to the winner’s account and can be used against future purchases.

  8. Winner Selection: Following the close of each Competition Period from all correct entries will be entered into a random draw which will be carried out by an independent promotional verification service and will take place within 4 working days of the end of each Competition Period. Once selected we will request each winner’s full name and email address (Details) in order to send the Prize.
  9. Contacting the Winners: We’ll contact the winners via a direct message on Instagram within 7 days after the relevant draw. If you are a lucky winner, you must respond to us within 14 days otherwise the Prize will be awarded to a reserve winner. A total of 3 reserves will be contacted per competition. Reserves may have less time to respond. In the event of no winner or reserves responding, we reserve the right to not award the Prize.
  10. Prize Acceptance: If you are our lucky winner, we will send you your Prize as soon as we can – and it will be delivered to you within 28 days of the date you accept the Prize when contacted by ASOS, in accordance with the details in clause 9 (Prize Acceptance). In the unlikely event that your Prize doesn’t arrive within 28 days of your Prize Acceptance, you’ll have a further 28 days to inform us by emailing the team at: win@asos.com. If you don’t let us know within this time frame, we will reserve the right to not reissue the prize or limit its value at our sole discretion.
  11. We’re sorry but you can’t transfer a prize to someone else or exchange it for a cash alternative.
  12. If, for reasons we can’t control, the prize is no longer available, we’ll offer you an alternative prize which we hope you’ll still love but which will definitely be of equal or greater value

    No one likes the small print, but we need to let you know about some other important stuff too and make you feel comfortable that we run our promotions properly, fairly (and legally!):

     

  13. Data Privacy:We care a lot about the security of your personal data and it will be held in accordance with our Privacy Policy here: http://www.asos.com/infopages/pgeprivacy.aspx and will only be used for the purposes of this promotion. We will only share your data with our Fulfilment Partners for to fulfil this promotion.
  14. We believe in fair play. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups, syndicates or third parties will not be accepted and we will not accept cheating in any form including the use of macros or other automated means of entry, masking your identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than your own and any other behaviour that falls outside the spirit of the promotion.If you’re found to be cheating you will be excluded.
  15. Unfortunately, if you suffer any loss or damage that arises out of or in connection with the prize draw or prize itself (whether in contract, tort (including (without limitation) negligence), statutory duty or otherwise) ASOS won’t be liable for this.
  16. If this promotion can’t run properly because of fraud, tampering, technical errors or anything else that is beyond our control which affects the running, administration, security or fairness of this promotion, we reserve the right to disqualify any person involved. We will also have the right to cancel, modify or suspend the promotion.
  17. By entering you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
  18. If someone or something tampers with this promotion in some way whether by fraud, technical failures, system errors or other issues, including any such failure which is within the control of ASOS or its agencies, ASOS and its agencies will not be responsible if the Promotion or the prize event not being capable of running as planned or for the non-inclusion of entries. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.
  19. In the event of any dispute our decision is final.
  20. If you want to know who won you can send an email to win@asos.com quoting “Black Friday Global WL” in the subject title for two months after the close of the promotion period.
  21. These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
