INSPIRATION AND ADVICE

WHAT TO WEAR TO A FESTIVAL THIS SUMMER

Festival season is upon us, and whether you're heading for the big ones, popping to a local event or jet-setting abroad, the search for festival outfit ideas is officially on. Don’t know where to start? We’ve put together some of our favourite festival looks to spark your creative juices, from breezy boho to all-out metallics. Scroll for some serious inspo.

BOHO CHIC

When it comes to festival outfits, boho chic is always a winner. With a bohemian renaissance fully underway thanks to brands like Chloé and Isabel Marant, a festival is the perfect way to jump on the trend. Try mixing vintage-inspired pieces with modern twists – think flowy silhouettes, maxi skirts and dresses, as well as co-ord sets ft. knit, lace, broderie and crochet details. Complete your look with some oversized sunglasses and a fringed bag.

METALLICS

Still stuck for festival outfit inspo? Well, it’s safe to say metallics are having a major moment this summer. From sequin dresses to high-shine accessories, try opting for statement pieces like this silver mini skirt and chainmail dress. Despite the sparkle, this cool shade is easy to pair with a range of pieces. We love the dress layered with a statement belt and dark bikini – both looks would give major space cowboy energy with a pair of western boots.

CASUAL LOOKS

Despite what you might think, festival outfits don't need to be all bells and whistles. Keeping things casual is as much about comfort as it is style. If you're feeling overwhelmed by all the themed outfit options, consider pairing things back to a simple T-shirt and shorts combo. Or try a tank and maxi skirt for more elevated yet easy-to-wear vibes. The best part? These are looks you'll still be reaching for long after the final act plays.

VINTAGE VIBES

With the rise of second-hand fashion, vintage vibes aren't going anywhere in 2025. Throwback festival outfits are a great chance to tap into the trend, from Y2K to 90s looks. Consider popular millennial moments like statement belts or bubblegum pink (sorry brat-green girlies). We love this belted mini skirt paired with a bralette top (who said leather wasn't worthy of the festival roster?), and you can never go wrong with an off-shoulder top.

EASY FESTIVAL LOOKS

To finish things off, we're going back to basics. Whether you’re a festival vet or all-out newbie, your main priority should always be comfort and ease. These simple looks still serve serious style without any fuss. If you're stumped on what to pack, a co-ord is always a great way to secure a full look without much thought. We love this girly set in a seasonal tomato shade. And don't sleep on the humble poplin dress. She might look understated, but with some chunky bangles and a good boot? You've got serious headliner material.
