COOL PEOPLE WERE EVERYWHERE AT THE LEVI'S® FIT THE BEAT EVENT

On a cold February night, just north of the river, London's most stylish gathered for the Levi’s® Fit the Beat event, soundtracked by the rhythms of R&B and neo soul. Besides a love of music (the evening featured live performances in participation with Youth Music, an organisation championing emerging UK talent), something else united them: great denim.

We partnered with the iconic brand to celebrate the new collection at the Fit the Beat event, rooting the brand in the world of music. A fan of denim on denim, DJ Anj took a more casual approach with wide-leg jeans and a denim bustier. An oversized denim shirt balances the feminine feel of her other pieces. And finished with silver jewellery and a loose up-do, this is a 'fit we’d happily roll out at festivals and parties for the rest of the year.

DJ Taylah Elaine didn’t let the booth get in the way of her outfit, opting for a beige bomber jacket and short-sleeve tee. Finished with perfect-fit denim jeans, this is the blueprint for effortless everyday cool. The cool colour palette is ideal for injecting some transitional freshness into your outerwear rotation, and when things inevitably warm up? That white T-shirt and pale blue denim combo is never going to serve you wrong.

EMMA WINDER: COLOUR-DRENCH COOL

Everyone’s favourite tea-sipping, mic-slinging model was on hand to get the guests talking. And in true Emma Winder style, she dressed the part. Straying from her usual bold colour palette, this navy look is a fresh take for Emma. Tucking a straight-leg jean into leather knee-high boots is the kind of kooky we want more of in 2026 – and ample proof that denim is there to be played with. We also love the inclusion of a classic bomber jacket (set to be this year’s outer layer of choice), which grounds the 'fit in casual, timeless comfort. It’s edgy and entirely Emma. But it’s still completely wearable. That’s the thing about Levi’s® pieces – they always fit.

Besides serenading the crowd with her dulcet vocals, Youth Music artist Lia White made a case for the preppy wardrobe. Trusty dark-wash denim jeans, a matching crop and a plaid quilted jacket were teamed with leather Mary-Janes and white socks. Sure, our school days are behind us, but this 'fit is a lesson in playful styling. From the blue colourwash to the girlie proportions, we only wish our classroom cred had been this effortless. It also nods to a trend we’re sure to see more of: double denim. And frankly, with fits and fabrics this versatile – why not?
