EVERYTHING ON OUR RADAR THIS MONTH

Pisces season has officially begun, and March promises countless things to be excited about. Not only do we have plenty of new-season styles, but the month is also bursting with new music – from Harry Styles to BTS – nail-biting TV and exciting things to do. But perhaps most importantly, it’s the month of women – Mother’s Day lands in March, as does International Women’s Day. So alongside adding all of the below to your calendar, let this be your reminder to treat the fabulous women in your life.

VLADIMIR – 5 MARCH
An adaptation of the best-selling novel by Julia May Jonas, Rachel Weisz stars as an unnamed, fourth-wall-breaking professor at a cosy arts college whose alluring new colleague Vladimir becomes the object of her fantasies. Despite its thrilling premise, the limited series offers a healthy dose of comedy, dark humour and complex characters. If You is among your favourite Netflix shows, Vladimir has your name written all over it.

THE BRIDE! – 6 MARCH
Are we all in our Frankenstein era? It's a hard yes. Pivoting away from the plot of the 19th-century masterpiece, Maggie Gyllenhaal's The Bride! sees the iconic monster (played by none other than Christian Bale), journey to 1930s Chicago to commission a companion for himself – portrayed by Hamnet’s Jessie Buckley. Jessie described the film as blending Bonnie & Clyde and Wild at Heart, a modern rendition of the literary classic that dives even deeper into one of humanity’s most carnal desires: love.

We're ready for house-era Harry.

HARRY STYLES, KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY – 6 MARCH
KATTDO sees Harry oscillating between his lover-boy and party-animal personas – with first single Aperture embodying the album’s ethos perfectly. Harry’s fourth solo album was mainly produced in Berlin, harkening back to David Bowie’s Berlin Trilogy. Expect a (positive) far cry from a lot of Harry’s signature pop with this house and electronic-influenced new project.

RAYE, THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE – 27 MARCH
Raye can do no wrong, and we’re expecting a tsunami of tracks to hit our playlists once This Music May Contain Hope drops. Already boasting viral single Where Is My Husband!, the album follows her incredible debut My 21st Century Blues, which was among 2023’s best releases. Raye’s currently on tour to promote the album, so if you’ve not already secured tickets, you’re missing out.

ROBYN, SEXISTENTIAL – 27 MARCH
It’s been eight years since Swedish artist Robyn released an album, but the drought is finally over. Sexistential marks her return to music, and we’re so excited. Robyn described the album as ‘feeling sensual’, with electronic single Dopamine being a hit already. Robyn will be supporting Harry Styles on his Together, Together tour this year – their blend of disco-pop is set to be the soundtrack of summer.

BTS, ARIRANG – 20 MARCH
The kings of K-pop are back. Jungkook, V, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jin and Jimin have embarked on individual journeys for the last few years, but they’re reuniting as BTS, dropping their much-anticipated album on 20 March. Arirang, references an iconic Korean folk song, so we can expect the album to hone in on their heritage and culture – plus some R&B, rap and pop influences in true BTS fashion. To mark the comeback, Netflix will livestream an exclusive Seoul performance on 21 March – the hype is real.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY – 8 MARCH
8 March celebrates the achievements of women across the globe and raises awareness about existing gender inequality. This year’s IWD theme is Give To Gain: make an impact by giving to charity, buying into women-owned brands or amplifying women’s voices through community. Even just showing your appreciation for the women in your life through gifts is enough to do your part.

SCHIAPARELLI: FASHION BECOMES ART, V&A MUSEUM – FROM 28 MARCH
Schiaparelli is most famous for its artisanal designs, with surreal looks worn by A-listers such as Kylie Jenner and Doja Cat during Fashion Week. But behind the glitz, glam and constant virality, lies the deep story of house founder and provocateur Elsa Schiaparelli. This one-of-a-kind exhibition celebrates the brand’s rich history and evolution into an artistic powerhouse, all the way up to the current era of Daniel Roseberry. You won’t want to miss it.
