This year, Junior Editor Liz Griffin has chosen Daisy Wild by Marc Jacobs as her latest scent companion. ‘It’s fresh with notes of jasmine, and there’s an underlying sensual warmth from sandalwood and vetiver des sables. One spritz and you’re transported into a sunlit meadow, bounding into a field of wildflowers.’ Bottled in Marc Jacobs’ iconic floral packaging, this scent is versatile enough to wear from dawn till dusk – and having worn it for several days, Liz found it’s prone to compliments. ‘The best part? It looks like a piece of art on my beauty shelf. If any perfume deserves its flowers, it’s Daisy Wild.’

It’s always worth having a lip product to hand, and if you fancy refreshing your pout, KIKO Milano’s 3D Hydra Gloss delivers. Just ask Editorial Manager Jazmin Duribe, who found plenty of reasons to pop this in her purse. ‘I cannot live without a lip combo, so of course I’m always reaching for new lip products. The 3D Hydra Gloss was non-sticky and hydrating – I could feel my lips becoming more supple as I applied it. The gloss stayed on for ages and my lips felt nourished afterwards.’ The cherry on top? LANEIGE Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser 50ml, £34

This is the perfect moisturiser if your skin's feeling dehydrated but you're after something lightweight. Writer Flo Bellinger tried it out for two weeks and noticed a visible difference. ‘It's refreshing, soothing and melts effortlessly into the skin – which makes it ideal for layering with other products or wearing under makeup. I've worn it for the past few days and the glow and bounce of my skin has improved. Plus, the cute packaging is always a bonus. It's hard to find a product you're sure will deliver year-round, but this is definitely one of them. Repurchase is imminent.’

e.l.f. Glow Reviver Slipstick- Trufflemaker, £10

After trying KIKO Milano's 3D Hydra Gloss, Jazmin put another lip must-have to the test: e.l.f’s Slipstick. ‘The e.l.f product intrigued me because I love a lip oil, but sometimes it's not pigmented enough,’ said Jazmin. Nourishing like a lip oil and pigmented like a lipstick – this hybrid product is genius. ‘It glided on so smoothly and my lips instantly felt moisturised with a flush of colour. This would be a perfect handbag item for no-makeup days.’ It’s safe to say this hybrid has earned a spot in our everyday lineup.

Sol de Janeiro Rosa Charmosa Dewy Body Cream 240ml, £48

January can be taxing on the skin, which makes indulgent body care even more worthwhile. If you’re struggling with dryness, the Sol de Janeiro Rosa Charmosa body cream is here to help. Junior Editor Emma Strawbridge incorporated this rich balm into her daily routine and instantly reaped the benefits. ‘No one does body creams like Sol de Janeiro, and when I wore this out with friends the glow was undeniable. The cream is infused with crystal peptides, but it gives a lit-from-within look rather than full-blown sparkle. As for the scent, this smells like you’ve spent hours lounging in a French boudoir. A self-confessed scent obsessive, Liz couldn’t resist trying more than one fragrance. ‘Cosmic 2.0 by Kylie Cosmetics is another perfume on my 2026 list. I'm a sucker for amber scents and this sweet fragrance feels like a warm embrace – the perfect antidote to winter’s sub-zero temps.’ Blending juicy pear, vanilla and sandalwood accord, this is a soft yet sexy addition to your lineup. Liz enjoys wearing it in the evenings as an alt to floral profiles, but the intoxicating notes work day and night. ‘Besides making my getting-ready routine more exciting, the sculpted chrome bottle could easily live on my coffee table,' Liz continued. We don’t like to judge a book by its cover, but this one wins all round.

Gisou Honey Gloss Ceramide Therapy Hair Mask 75ml, £19

Don’t forget your hair. Winter can leave even the lushest locks in need of TLC, and Gisou is our go-to.
