EVERYONE LOOKED GREAT AT THE 2026 CRITICS' CHOICE AWARDS
By Flo Bellinger, 5 January 2026
Frankenstein and Sinners were both big hitters in the film categories, but we’ll admit our eyes were drawn before the show had started. Like any great red carpet, the guests turned up and turned out in coordinating looks, bold silhouettes and plenty of draping. For a peek at the trends set to shape 2026 (and the top actors sporting them) and our favourite looks, keep scrolling.
CHASE INFINITI

At just 25, Chase Infiniti has had a great year – and a great stylist by the looks of it. Taking to the stage after her film One Battle After Another won Best Picture, Chase wowed in a floor-length lemon gown complete with rich layers of draped fabric. A citrus shade might feel a risky choice, but 2026 is all about tasty tones – and we love that this feels an inch more spicy than last year’s butter-yellow pieces.

JESSIE BUCKLEY

Oh Jessie Buckley, how we adore you. Besides her world-shattering performance in Hamnet, for which she took home the Best Actress prize, Jessie’s red-carpet looks have been delivering all season. This weekend’s ensemble stayed the course, combining black trousers with a tumbling satin halter top, accented by enlarged reams of fabric wrapped in an oversized bow. The finishing touch: Jessie’s slick side-parted hair, which completes an outfit worthy of the greatest 1920s parties.

ODESSA A'ZION

Another breakout star cementing her Hollywood style chops, Odessa A’Zion left no head unturned when she arrived in top-to-toe sequins. Her tousled tendrils were the perfect match for this striking silhouette, which featured a dramatic collar and tumbling sleeves. Much like Chase’s draped gown, this dress gave us major insight into the next 12 months of favoured ‘fits – and we hope the nod to 70s partywear is a sign of fun to come.

JESSICA WILLIAMS

Thanks to her sharp wit and warm humour, Jessica Williams has earned icon status in the world of TV. But while her understated onscreen style remains bound to the fictional therapist offices of Shrinking, the actor’s red-carpet look injected some fun into professional dressing. We love the pairing of bows and soft lace, with unexpected ruching in the skirt, transforming a simple camisole dress into something unexpected. Finished with minimal jewellery and matching bows in the hair, this is a clashing of modern and retro that’s widely adored and hard to achieve.

HANNAH EINBINDER

Never one to stay inside the box, Hannah Einbinder arrived on the carpet looking like she’d just left a sitting with Botticelli. The voluminous sleeves on her monochrome gown cast a delicious contrast with the sleek black skirt, with pleated detailing on the bodice to provide some old-Italian flair. Perfectly balanced top-to-bottom, this could-be-OTT look hits the mark.
