Festival season is officially here – and we kicked things off the only way we know how: teaming up with adidas Originals to celebrate the high-impact Lo-Pro collection. With bold spins on low-profile staples like the Tokyo and Japan, the shoes were just the beginning. We have to start with the main event. Lo-Pro styles are fast becoming 2025’s flagship silhouettes, and adidas Originals is leading the charge. From the Japan to the Tokyo to the Taekwondo, the Soundcheck runway was a showcase of low-slung, high-style icons. If you needed proof that these shoes go with everything, this is it.

Bringing main-stage energy to a runway setting, London duo Nova Twins hosted the Soundcheck stage with live sets that set the tone for a summer of festivals. Each performance moved with the mood of the Lo-Pro collection – versatile, effortless and built for the long haul.

Inspired by the best of backstage, the Soundcheck venue captured festival energy from start to finish. Set against a raw industrial backdrop, the space morphed into a living, breathing catwalk. A balance of shadow and spotlight turned every step into a dynamic statement –and the adidas Originals community into the main act.

What makes an Original? The Soundcheck cast made a strong case. 'Just be yourself, your style is your own.' Those were the words of model Ilana Luna, one of the runway stars we caught up with on the night. Walking in head-to-toe ASOS X adidas Originals looks, each model embodied a different take on summer style whilst sharing their festival favourites. 'adidas Sambas [are my go-to]. I literally put them on every morning, so I feel like that’s gonna be my headliner,' Ilana told us. We couldn’t agree more.
