STYLE FILES: TOP BOY EDITION

The wait is over! 🙏🙌 Top Boy season 4 is finally here and we can't wait to get stuck into what the crew over at Summerhouse have been up to. The Drake-approved drama features a ton of mega-talented British actors and musicians –  looking at you, Little Simz, Dave and Kano 👀 While we're super-stoked to get into the drama, we wouldn't be ASOS if we didn't take a peek into the style game of our fave actors, right? Little Simz, who plays Shelley in Top Boy when she's not winning BRIT awards (best new artist – congrats!), has firmly established a style identity that's instantly recognisable. Our girl loves a suit (bonus points if it's in a super-soft fabric and a bold colour), but let's not sleep on the rest: statement shades, a cool-AF leather-look trench and a chunky shoe are the ultimate Little Simz get-up 👌 She's in a league of her own on the red carpet and we're looking forward to seeing a lot more 🏆

Next up is Jasmine, AKA Jaq. Her character has major boss vibes and isn't scared to go up against the boys. Jasmine's IRL style mirrors Jaq's tomboy-esque character, but she'll stun in a dress when she wants to. Monochrome moments seem to be right up Jasmine's street, whether it's a dungarees-and-Tims sort of look or a minimal dress with barely-there jewellery ✨ She's a style chameleon, turning heads in every direction 👏

Another big hitter on the red carpet here 😍 Saffron plays Jasmine's older sis Lauryn and, just like a lot of siblings, their styles are worlds apart – but we love both their looks. Saffron’s IRL style is soft yet glam with midi and maxi dresses being her first choice. She's a print girl but she can rock a colour-block moment, too 👏 If you're trying to nab Saff's style (and we totes don't blame you), a peek of skin is definitely your way in. Midriff-baring dresses are definitely Saff-approved👌

Last (but defo not least) is our Irish charm Lisa, who plays Lizzie in Top Boy. Off-screen, Lisa's style is drool-worthy 🤤 Her love for dresses with a cool quirk is *chef's kiss* and she puts her own spin on classics like this LBD with cool broderie detailing or this tulle number with trailing ribbons 😍 And can we hear a little commotion for those metallic heels? 🤩
