WHY WE ALL WANT TO DRESS LIKE WILL POULTER
By Ayis Stephen-Diver, 11 August 2025
If we had to describe Will Poulter’s style, it would be unapologetically British meets Hollywood cool – a fitting combo for an actor whose all-American accent is terrifyingly good. He doesn’t step out in the loudest outfits or head-to-toe brand names, but his dedication to simplicity has become his signature – and it’s kind of iconic. With his stellar acting portfolio (we're excited for his upcoming role in romantic drama On Swift Horses), you’re probably already well-acquainted with on-screen Will. But if you're not so familiar with his style game, scroll to see why it's on our new-season moodboard.
#1: HE'S MASTERED COLOUR DRENCHING

If traditional tailoring bores you, Will’s got a fresh approach: colour blocking with a bright shirt and tie combo. He added a dose of dopamine to his grey suit trousers with help from a yellow duo – an attention-grabbing look we didn’t know we needed. This is your reminder to play around with palettes to form your future 'fits.

The latest celebrity endorser of stripes is Will, spotted in an ultra-relaxed suit while chilling at the E1 London Showrun (AKA a boat racing event). Does something this carefree even count as a suit? The pastel palette and loose silhouette give holiday-in-Capri vibes – fitting for the waterside occasion.

Working the runway isn’t an easy feat, but Will showed us how it’s done in a street-ready co-ord and some ultra-suave shades while walking in the 424 SS26 show. You don’t have to be a pilot or biker to pull off aviators – they’ve been upgrading all sorts of ‘fits since the 1930s. Rely on Ray-Ban or ASOS DESIGN for your next pair.

Barn jackets were everywhere last autumn, and they're back. This icon of British outdoorsy style isn't just for farm and festival looks – it's the ideal shield for any unexpected UK weather, and of course, they look cool. For AW25, they're best served with the classics – that means Barbour basics, a neutral colour palette and cargo shorts or trousers. Will gets it.
