It’s hard to imagine not stepping out in a big puffer jacket, hat, scarf and gloves right now, but we’re looking forward to nothing more. Our perfect weather conditions involve light layers, and that’s what we’re here to help with – specifically jackets. Cult classics like the trench and denim silhouettes will always be wardrobe go-tos, but we’re going to show you how to update them for the new season – scroll to see our top styles for spring.

BARN JACKETS
We mentioned barn jackets back in autumn as they had become a staple of it-boys like Jacob Elordi. But just like autumn, spring is a transitional season so they’ll slot right back into your everyday rotation with ease. As the days get (hopefully) warmer, make yours oversized and pair it with equally oversized denim for a cool-guy-approved look.

TRENCH COATS
A trench is a transitional-season classic. Thanks to its lightweight but typically weatherproof construction, it’s perfect for whatever spring has to throw at us, but we’re updating it for SS25 with a slate-grey colourway in line with the rising popularity of corpcore. Slip it on over tailoring for a smart Patrick Bateman-inspired look (minus the gore).

HARRINGTON JACKETS

The Harrington jacket has seen a meteoric revival in the past few months, and for spring we’ll be choosing styles with texture. Leather is the standard – and the sleek design of this ASOS DESIGN silhouette is perfect for evening plans – but why not try corduroy or suede instead? It’ll bring dimension to everyday looks and we’re loving the rust-orange colourway of this Topman style, too.
