EVERYTHING YOU MISSED FROM THE GLADIATOR II PREMIERE
By Emma Strawbridge, 14 November 2024
Last night saw the London premiere of Ridley Scott’s Gladiator II, and the stars were out. We headed down to Leicester Square to make sure we could bring you all the tea straight from the red carpet. From big reunions to major fashion moments, here’s everything you missed.

#1: PAUL MESCAL AND ANDREW SCOTT'S REUNION
We're beyond jealous of Paul and Andrew's friendship, and the All of us Strangers co-stars reunited on the red carpet with a big hug and even bigger grins. Plus, let’s not sleep on the ‘fits. Andrew is more than ready for festive season in a sparkly argyle knit, and Paul’s undone shirt/cravat/bowtie hybrid is giving end-of-the-night effortless vibes that we need to recreate.

Fred, on his fashion Roman Empire: 'I love a high pant, especially on a man. I keep wanting to raise the pant – it's never high enough.'
#2: FRED HECHINGER'S TINY ACCESSORIES
You may not have heard of Fred Hechinger yet, but that’s the keyword – yet. His performance as Emperor Caracalla had us captivated, and now the 24-year-old American actor is giving us looks like this? The pinned lapel, the pinkie ring, the vintage-style watch... 10/10. The classic tailoring is elevated by the small details, and we’re taking notes for party season.

#3: PEDRO AND LUX PASCAL ARE SIBLING GOALS
Siblings that get along (and both look SO good)? Who knew! Not only is it adorable that the actor brought his sister to the premiere, but their energy on the red carpet was *unmatched*. And those coordinating looks? Sensational. Casual tailoring was the theme of the night, with Pedro opting for an open black shirt with subtle red details, sans jacket.

#5: THE FERRARI BOYS TURNED *UP*
F1 fans, brace yourselves. This is the Gladiator-F1 crossover you didn't know you needed. The appearance of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz was arguably one of the most exciting moments of the night. And even better… Paul knows them! The pair showed up in matching 'fits complete with bowties – looks that would definitely get a thumbs up from us in the Colosseum.
