TRIPLE-WHITE TRAINERS WE'RE ADDING TO BAG
By Steven Potter, 12 August 2024

ON THE ROGER ADVANTAGE
As a full summer of sport comes to a close, we're taking a moment to mention On's tennis-inspired collection, which is also a collab with the game’s legendary player Roger Federer (hence the name). These beauts are all about classy clean lines with subtle branding mirroring the unfussy styling of the game itself. Crystal-clear, centre-court clout.

NIKE AIR ZOOM VOMERO 5
Opting for a triple-white colourway doesn’t always mean super clean lines and unfussy design. Case in point: the Air Zoom Vomero 5. Featuring a mishmash of mesh, suede panelling and textured plastic inserts, there seems to be more to see on these trainers the longer we look, and that's exactly why we're so into them.

VANS SPEED CHUNKY
Narrow, vintage-inspired silhouettes such as the Gazelle and Campus by adidas Originals and the 327 by New Balance may have been the sneaker shape of choice for the summer, but that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about our beloved chunky kicks. For fans of an all-white pair that makes a statement, you can’t go wrong with the above from Vans. They easily land 90s-inspired skate style, and if you’ve been watching as much skateboarding during the summer games as we have – now is the time to jump\ollie into the aesthetic.

NIKE TRAINING METCON
Talking of the games, if you’re feeling inspired and you’re looking for a super-fresh, gym-ready colourway, the Metcon is your answer. Design cues such as the Hyperlift plate in the middle give stability for weight training, and the extended rubber wrap makes rope climbing (relatively) a breeze. Throw in some foam cushioning, breathable mesh and an innovative lace-lock system and you can see why they're a favourite among athletes.

ADIDAS ORIGINALS RIVALRY LUX LO
Much like the Vans option delivering on two style counts above, adidas’ Rivalry Lux Lo channels 80s basketball style – arguably one of the greatest decades for court-ready sneaker style. However, the Lux Lo is more at home on the streets, adding a vintage-inspired edge that stands out amongst a sea of super-techy rivals – you can’t beat a classic.
