FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

What You Need To Know:

We love running promotions for you guys and we want to be as clear as possible on how you enter and the prize is drawn. Please read the nuts and bolts below for the full details. If you’ve got any questions, just contact win@asos.com.

1. We know that there are ASOS lovers all around the world, but this promotion is only open to residents of the UK, including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, and the Republic of Ireland aged 18 or over. So that we are completely fair, anyone employed by us, including freelancers and contractors, their families (parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners) and professionally connected to this promotion is not allowed to enter.

2. You will need to make a purchase to take part in this promotion. You’ll also do need access to the internet, have a valid ASOS account and a valid UK bank account in order to enter.

3. Promotion Period: You can enter between 08:00 GMT on the 17th January 2022 and 08:00 GMT on the 19th January 2022. So, keep your eye on that watch!

4. To Enter: Just complete a purchase at ASOS and use a unique student code from either the onsite validation or from the following third parties: Unidays, Student Beans or Totum at checkout within the Promotion Period to be automatically entered into the Prize Draw.

5. You can enter as many times as you want during the Promotion Period. Sorry but you can only win 1 x Prize per person across the entire Promotion Period.

6. Prize: There will be a total of 50 winners in the UK and 25 winners in the ROI. If you’re selected as our lucky winner, you will win 1 x £/€100 ASOS Gift Voucher.

7. Further Prize Details and Conditions:

a) The winner will receive an individual gift voucher code via email to register it to their ASOS account as credit. An ASOS account will need to be set up to use the gift voucher (if the winner hasn’t done this already).

b) Unless otherwise limited or prohibited by law, the gift voucher will have its own expiry date of 24 months from the date of issue. The expiry date will be made clear when the voucher is sent to the winner.

c) Gift vouchers can be used as part or full payment against eligible items on the ASOS websites (this does not include ASOS Marketplace or the purchase of other ASOS gift vouchers).

d) Gift vouchers can be used against shipping costs.

e) Unless otherwise required by law, no cash refunds will be given but any balance remaining on the gift voucher is locked to the winner’s account and can be used against future purchases.

8. Winner Selection: So that you know we’ve selected our 75 provisional winners fairly from all the valid entries we receive, the random draw will be carried out by an independent promotional verification service to select 1 winner. The draw will take place within 5, working days of the end of the Promotion Period.

9. Contacting the winner: If you are one of our lucky provisional winners, you will be contacted via the email address associated with the ASOS account you used to enter the Prize Draw within five working days of winner selection and will be asked to provide evidence of identity and eligibility. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winners. If a winner does not respond to the initial contact within 14 days, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant and award the Prize to a reserve selected in the same manner. Reserve winners may have less time to respond.

10. Prize Acceptance: If you are one of our lucky provisional winners, and once we confirm you as a winner, we will contact you to arrange your prize as soon as we can and they will be delivered to you within 28 days of the date you accept the Prizes when contacted by ASOS, in accordance with the details provided by you.

11. In the unlikely event that your Prize doesn’t arrive within 28 days of your Prize Acceptance, you’ll have a further 28 days to inform us by emailing the team at win@asos.com. If you don’t let us know within this time frame, we will reserve the right to not reissue the prize or to limit its value at our sole discretion.

12. Sorry, but you can’t transfer the Prize to someone else or exchange it for an alternative.

13. If, for reasons we can’t control, the Prize is no longer available, we’ll offer you an alternative Prize which we hope you’ll still love but which will definitely be of equal or greater value.

12. Provided no objection from the winners is received, we’ll make a winners list available 4 weeks after the close of the Promotion Period, for a period of 8 weeks. It will be at available by sending a request via email to win@asos.com. Winners can object to their surname or county of

residence being published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced during the Winner Notification process. However, without prejudice, we will provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request.

The Legal and Other Bits

No one likes the small print, but we need to let you know about some other important stuff too and make you feel comfortable that we run our promotions properly, fairly (and legally!):

14. Data Privacy: We care a lot about the security of your personal data, and it will be held in accordance with our Privacy Policy here: https://www.asos.com/privacy-policy/ and will only be used for the purposes of this Prize Draw, except where you have opted in to receive communications from ASOS. We will only share your data with our Fulfilment Partners for the to fulfil this Prize Draw.

15. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.

16. We can’t take any responsibility for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. We can’t guarantee continuous or secure access to Asos.com.

17. We believe in fair play. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups, syndicates or third parties will not be accepted, and we will not accept cheating in any form including the use of macros or other automated means of entry, masking your identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than your own and any other behaviour that falls outside the spirit of the promotion. If you’re found to be cheating, you will be excluded.

18. Unfortunately, if you suffer any loss or damage that arises out of or in connection with the Prize draw or the Prize itself (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, ASOS won’t be liable for this. Nothing will exclude our liability for death or personal injury as a result of our negligence.

19. We will not be liable for any failure to comply with our obligations or any delay in performing our obligations within these terms and conditions If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs caused by (but not limited to) global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

20. If this promotion can’t run properly because of tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond our reasonable control which affects the running, administration, security or fairness of this promotion, we reserve the right to disqualify any person involved. We will also have the right to cancel, modify or suspend the promotion.

21. If any provisions of these Terms & Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this will not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions.

22. We may refuse to award a Prize in the event of any entrant’s fraud, dishonesty, breach or non-entitlement under these Terms & Conditions or seek recovery of its value if the Prize has been awarded.

23. In the event of a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and the details in any promotional material, the details in the Terms & Conditions will prevail.

24. By entering you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

25. If someone or something tampers with this promotion in some way whether by fraud, technical failures, system errors or other issues, including any such failure which is within the control of ASOS or our agencies, ASOS and our agencies will not be responsible if the promotion or the Prize event not being capable of running as planned or for the non-inclusion of entries. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.

26. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh Courts.

3. Changes made to these Terms & Conditions will not be legally valid unless agreed in writing by PromoVeritas. It is the responsibility of the Client to inform PromoVeritas of any such changes, as this may affect the legality, operation and delivery of the Promotion.
