THE PRIZE IS AN ENTITLEMENT TO PURCHASE THE PROMOTED PRODUCT EARLY. YOU DON’T NEED TO PURCHASE OR PAY ANYTHING TO ENTER THIS PROMOTION. HOWEVER, IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE PRODUCT, YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE IT IF YOU ARE SELECTED AS A WINNER OF THE PRIZE. IF YOU DO PURCHASE FROM, OR MAKE A PAYMENT, THIS WON’T INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
What You Need To Know: We love running promotions for you guys and we want to be as clear as possible on how you enter, and how the prize is drawn. Please read the nuts and bolts below for the full details.
1. We know that there are ASOS lovers all around the world, but this Promotion is only open to ASOS Premier customers who are residents of the UK (excluding the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man), aged 18 or over. So that we are completely fair, anyone employed by us or professionally connected to this Promotion is not allowed to enter.
2. You don’t have to buy anything to take part in this Promotion, but you do need to be an ASOS Premier customer, have your own email account, access to the internet and/or the ASOS app in order to enter. In order to redeem the Prize and receive the Promoted Product, a purchase will be required if you are selected as a winner.
3. Promotion Period: You can enter between 08:00AM BST on Thursday 11 April 2024 and 23:59PM BST on Saturday 13 April 2024.
4. Redemption Period: This is the period in which winners of the draw can purchase the Promoted Product. The Redemption Period will open shortly after 08:00AM BST on Sunday 14 April 2024 (the winners will be notified) and will close at 08:00AM BST on Tuesday 16 April 2024.
5. To Enter: Entering this Promotion is simple, visit ASOS.com or the ASOS app, (which is available to download from the Google Play Store or App store). You will be able to find the ASOS Drop Promoted Product on the website or app menu. Simply select the Prize, login to your ASOS account and tap ‘enter draw’.
6. We’re sorry, but a maximum of 1 entry is permitted per person during the Promotion Period. No person may win more than 1 Prize.
7. The Prize: There will be a maximum of 1,900 winners. Each winner will win the opportunity to purchase 1 Self-Care Superstars April Box prior to it going on general sale. We reserve the right to sell or offer for sale, the Promoted Products to other ASOS customers after the Redemption Period has expired.
8. Further Prize Details and Conditions:
a) The winner can purchase the Prize between 08:00AM BST on Sunday 14 April 2024 and 08:00AM BST on Tuesday 16 April 2024.
b) The purchase of the Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, discounts or gift cards.
c) Once purchased, the Prize cannot be exchanged or replaced. For more information, please see our website Ts&Cs here.
9. Winner Selection: So that you know we’ve selected our winners fairly from all the valid entries we receive, and a random draw will be carried out to select 1,900 winners. The draw will take place within 2 working days at the end of the Promotion Period.
10. Contacting the Winners: We’ll contact the winners via the email address provided on entry within 1 working day of Winner Selection and winners will be provided with the link to allow them to add the Promoted Product straight to their basket. The winners will be notified about the Redemption Period during which they have to purchase the Promoted Product at the same time. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winners. If a winner does not claim the prize within the Redemption Period, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant. No reserve winners will be selected. If you have not been successful, we will notify you via email.
11. If there are any technical issues with the link the winners must inform us by visiting us at https://www.asos.com/customer-care/get-in-touch/. If you don’t let us know within the Redemption Period, we will reserve the right to not reissue the Prize or limit its value at our sole discretion.
12. A winners list containing the surname and county of residence of the winners is made available 4 weeks after the close of the Promotion Period and retained for a period of 8 weeks, this winners list is available upon request. If you wish to object to this data processing, you can submit a request via email to michelle.smith@asos.com. Winners can object to their details being published during the Winner Selection process; however, we will provide winners information to the Advertising Standards Authority when requested by them. The winners list will be retained by ASOS for one year after the close of the Promotion Period (or longer period required by a regulatory authority or under applicable law) after which it will be securely destroyed.
13. Sorry, but you can’t transfer a Prize to someone else or exchange it for a cash alternative.
The Legal and Other Bits
No one likes the small print, but we need to let you know about some other important stuff too and make you feel comfortable that we run our promotions properly, fairly (and legally!):
14. Data Privacy: We care a lot about the privacy and security of your personal data and it will be held in accordance with our Privacy Notice here: We will only share your data with our Fulfilment Partners to fulfil this Promotion.
15. The Promoter may request that the winners participate in reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion. Participation is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of Prize Acceptance.
16. We seek to run fair and secure promotions and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entries (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified, any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and we reserve the right to bar you from entering future promotions of ours for a period of at least six months. For this reason, we reserve the right at any point to:
a. Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or provisional winners through multiple means by requesting such information we consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Prize may be withheld unless and until verification is completed satisfactorily.
b. Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.
c. Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.
d. Disqualify bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.
e. Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.
f. Disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process.
g. Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not fully meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions.
h. Cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion.
17. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. We can’t guarantee continuous or secure access to ASOS.com or the ASOS App.
18. We and our associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the/a Prize(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promotor’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
19. We won’t be liable for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations for reasons beyond our reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances.
20. If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.
21. By entering, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
22. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional materials, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.
23. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Residents of Scotland and Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their own jurisdiction.
