FEATHERS WERE EVERYWHERE AT THE GRAMMYS 2026
By Ayis Stephen-Diver, 2 February 2026
LADY GAGA
Similar: Jaded Rose faux feather bell sleeve mini dress in black, £75
Mother Monster took home two Grammys, gave us a riveting rock rendition of Abracadabra (which we’ll be thinking about for weeks to come) and three costume changes in one night. Alongside her insane archival Alexander McQueen performance look, this custom Matières Fécales gown was exquisite. We’re certain Swan Lake’s Odile was on the moodboard – the feathers all swooping in the same direction and the face-framing neckline were perfectly birdy. With her bleach-blonde hair contrasting the jet-black dress on top, this look was yet another 10/10 from the queen of statement dressing.
OLIVIA DEAN
Similar: Rare London maxi dress in black and white, £85
Leaning into her signature 60s aesthetic, Olivia Dean went full Old-Hollywood glamour in this stunning Chanel look. The Best New Artist winner accepted the prestigious award in a dress consisting of a sequinned, feathery bodice and voluminous ballgown skirt – finishing it off with monochrome Chanel pumps. Black-and-white dresses are a hallmark of 60s fashion, and A-listers like Olivia, Mikey Madison and Zoë Kravitz have jumped on the bandwagon. Take notes for that upcoming wedding on your calendar.
SABRINA CARPENTER
Similar: Maya Embellished halter neck open back maxi dress, £245
Despite the lack of feathers, we couldn’t not shout out the Short ‘n’ Sweet pop princess. Sabrina is yet to disappoint on the red carpet, and her latest look – bespoke Valentino – was another sartorial serve. The sheer gown featured vintage-inspired cape sleeves, sparkly embroidery and cascading ruffles – resulting in a featherlike silhouette. It was a departure from the sexy flight attendant look she donned during her Manchild performance – which was in turn a playful wink at Christina Aguilera in Candyman.
TYLA
Similar: Aria Cove sequin scoop neck fishtail hem maxi dress, £70
Tyla gave us attitude on the red carpet – in the best way possible. Pivoting away from her signature vibrant 2010s-core, she kept it classic with a loose-fitting slip dress, which came with an exaggerated feathery hem and train to match. Sourced from Dsquared2’s AW13 collection, this dress is yet another page in Tyla’s book of red-carpet hits. Turning 24 one day and winning Best African Music Performance (for the second time) on the next? No one is doing it like this South African star.
KESHA

Similar: True Decadence Tulle maxi dress in white, £165
If Lady Gaga was Odile, Kesha was Odette. After eight years, she marked her return to the Grammys with a full-feather Atelier Biser gown, which made a cosy statement. Something you might’ve missed: Kesha abandoned footwear and went barefoot for the red carpet – a perfectly on-brand move for the eccentric hitmaker.
