THE LOOKS YOU NEED TO SEE FROM THE 2025 FASHION AWARDS

Britain’s biggest night in style is back – the Fashion Awards took over the capital last night with a bevy of tulle, lace and corsetry (and plenty of star power). Now we don’t want to give you FOMO, but we made it our mission to bring you all the delicious details from the red carpet – and frankly, these looks are too good not to share. Having narrowed it down to our firm favourites, we’ve landed on the standout ensembles we saw strutting their way into UK fashion heaven, aka the Royal Albert Hall. There were even a few familiar frocks, with icons including Amybeth McNulty turning out in ASOS-exclusive pieces.

From trains longer than your festive wish list and gowns with enough print to put the newspaper industry out of business, to surprise appearances and new-age couture – keep scrolling for the crème de la crème of London’s best-dressed.

Not only did Anok win the prestigious 'Model of the Year' award last night – she was also one of the best dressed in attendance. Wrapped in satin and lace, this stunning gown features signature boned corsetry and tousled swathes of fabric. Finished with flawless makeup and a dusting of body glitter, Anok was practically glowing under the flash of cameras. Any soon-to-be brides will have plenty of fresh mood board material thanks to this ensemble.

AMYBETH MCNULTY

A major takeaway from last night’s carpet was the resurgence of ruffles. From avant-garde ruching to classic trains and hems, it seems texture was everyone’s plus one. Amybeth McNulty got the memo in an ASOS DESIGN gown that featured a sweeping open back. The deep forest green was both seasonal and perfectly suited to her complexion – and we can’t get enough of the makeup. Burgundy has been the shade of the year, and Amybeth proves it might just be the hair colour of 2026.

ALEX CONSANI

After winning 'Model of the Year' in 2024, Alex Consani returned this year in a head-turning Alexander McQueen design. This look throws it back to the designer’s golden age, with a ruffled skirt and bodice two-piece featuring signature skull monogramming. The swathes of fabric look as though Alex just emerged from a dressing-up box of dreams, filled to bursting with iconic McQueen skull scarves. They say what goes around comes around – and frankly, this red-carpet moment has us yearning for the comeback of the early 00s accessory.

ROSE GRAY

It might be the biggest night in British fashion, but clothes weren’t the only thing catching attention. Plenty of guests took the opportunity to glam in every sense of the word – and big hair had a big moment. There were statement wigs, exaggerated hair pieces and elongated locks that proved winter boho is far from finished. Rose Gray – wearing a sleek Topshop two-piece in delicious buttermilk – nailed the brief with wavy tendrils of red hair tumbling down the back of her cowl top. She finished the look with an architectural headpiece that mimicked the deep tones of her own hair, adding unexpected edge to her understated look.

PALOMA ELSESSER

It’s no secret that print has dominated our wardrobes these past 12 months – but last night’s awards saw polka dots and animal stripes cropping up in couture. Paloma Elsesser did some serious campaigning for the former, in a structured floor length gown complete with bejewelled ribbon and monochrome spots.

PINK PANTHERESS

Plaid has quickly become the print of the autumn/winter season – even more so when crafted in preppy silhouettes. Pink Pantheress took the trend and twisted it with her signature y2k flair. From the structured micro top with twee puffball sleeves, to the school-girl side part and bubble-gum pink blush, this look puts a playful spin on Chopova Lowena’s gritty-punk designs. The kilt features classic checked fabric and enlarged pins, with added sparkle on the fringed skirt. Festive, fearless and flirty – this is how you take an icon and make it your own.

IRIS LAW

Another standout came from Iris Law, who tapped another trending texture with her faux-fur boa and scarlet shoes. The black gown tumbles from the shoulders to reveal lingerie detailing, while the office-siren eyewear holds up the reign of the micro glasses. As for the pink hair, it’s giving us early 2010s flashbacks in the best possible way. Excuse us while we book in a colour appointment.

CAT BURNS

A welcome break from the skirts and dresses, Cat Burns delighted in a plum tailored look complete with red feather details and an oversized collar. The chunky boots were offset by giant sparkling earrings that felt the perfect amount of festive. We couldn’t fault the makeup either – which Cat did herself. Glowing skin, a glossy lip and lashings of deep red blush: we want to live inside this colour palette all season.

RAYE

No stranger to old-Hollywood glamour, Raye turned out in her signature bouncy bob, dramatic nude lip and plenty of satin. Her dress was encrusted with thousands of tiny jewels that dripped from her long-sleeve silhouette, while the smooth drapery on the skirt created a satisfying split between daring and demure. You can’t go wrong with a cool-toned silver at this time of year, and finished with sparkle, too? We can safely say this entire outfit is ready for its close-up.

DILARA FINDIKOĞLU

Having kitted out the Model of the Year two shows in a row, you’d think the Turkish designer would have taken a well-deserved night off. But alas, Dilara Findikoğlu served once again – and this look from her SS26 collection left us well fed (with cherries, no less). Dressed in her signature corsetry, sheer lace and tulle, and a cascade of just-bitten fruit dousing the whole gown in berry-red stains, this is giving Marie Antoinette stumbling back to her boudoir after a food fight at Versailles. Delicious from head to toe.
