AUSTIN BUTLER AND JEREMY ALLEN WHITE ARE OUR NEW FAVOURITE STYLE DUO

Austin Butler’s dedication to method acting has bled into his red-carpet fashion – his Dune 2 press run was overflowing with eccentric, structural tailoring that looked straight out of Feyd Harkonnen’s wardrobe, and his Elvis era was basically a love letter to bell-bottoms and open collars. But when he's not on set, Austin is surprisingly low-key with his looks – often reaching for vintage workwear or slouchy joggers, which explains the cap. A rare 5-panel style, the 'Capco Steel' cap hails from a Texas-based steel company, likely with a previous owner who worked for them. True workwear if ever we saw it. And while the blue shirt and chinos he paired it with weren't groundbreaking, we’ll always advocate for subtle colour co-ordination and retro style.
As for Jeremy, blending in has never been his style, but nor has standing out. His not-so-bad-boy persona is channelled through a capsule of almost exclusively worn-down denim, wrinkled T-shirts and an aversion to layering. Were we surprised when he turned up to the game in a prim beige polo? Kinda. But Jeremy reminded us how effective a simple shirt-and-jean combo can be. Plus, his cap was well-worn and sun-bleached, in tune with his usual style. If you’re sold on matching your look to your hat, try these.
