Rihanna came to London, baby! Everyone's favourite was in town to celebrate the launch of her PUMA x FENTY Creeper Phatty Earth Tone sneakers – and we scored an invite to the launch party (along with a viral interview on our socials!). Scroll to soak in all the FENTY feels.

THE VENUE

The cavernous Tobacco Dock in East London was dressed to reflect the nature-inspired palette of the new drop. Everywhere was covered in lush greenery, with ambient lighting and a soundtrack spanning R&B and Amapiano setting the stage for an *elite* experience. The real showstopper? The hanging display of Creeper Phattys right at the entrance. We even spotted pairs nestled in the mud around the Dock, too – truly a down-to-earth sneaker.

WHAT RIHANNA WORE

The dress code was elevated streetwear, and of course RiRi signed, sealed and delivered. Her Peter Do FW24 ensemble came in an ultra-oversized silhouette and a muted taupe that nailed the nature theme. When we asked for her go-tos for elevating streetwear looks, she didn’t hesitate. ‘I can wear literally boxers and a T-shirt and if I pull out my diamonds, it just takes it to another place,’ she told us. Noted!

THE CREEPER PHATTY EARTH TONE

Originally launched a decade ago, PUMA's Creeper sneaker just got its latest FENTY upgrade and the new drop is bigger, bolder and badder than ever. We’re talking luxe nubuck, generous padding and a super-stacked sole. The brand-new colourways – Green Fog and Warm White – were designed to camouflage seamlessly in nature – hence PUMA’s rugged-looking campaign shots (featuring the odd creepy-crawly).

BEST-DRESSED GUESTS

From head-to-toe fur to streetwear-meets-grunge, the guests came ready to impress. Victor Kunda kept it simple and sharp in a white tank top and cargos with the Warm White Creeper Phatty, while Astrid Lonsdale rode the taupe wave Rihanna set in motion. WHAT a night.
