ASOS X REEBOK CLASSICS: INTRODUCING THE LEISURE PACK

Back in the mid-80s, Reebok's Classic Nylon was released, and the Club Workout wasn't – in fact, it didn't see the light of day until 20 years after its design. Bringing both together for the first time, ASOS and Reebok Classics are proud to present the Leisure Pack.

The Classic Nylon's been ever-present for three decades now, having graduated from fitness equipment to street uniform as it became an icon in Reebok's retro arsenal. Things weren't so straightforward for the Club Workout, though. Having mashed up the court classic, Club C, and a star of the fitness game, the Workout Lo, Reebok held off releasing this hybrid until last year. Since the initial conception more than 30 years ago, each shoe has been on its own distinct trajectory – which makes their reunion at ASOS, and our second collab with Reebok Classics, even more exciting. 

So, what's the story with the Leisure Pack? Drawing design notes from the athletic environment they first found fame in (or, in the Club Workout's case, didn't), Reebok's signature white leather base gets daubed with orange sports hall-esque lines across the Club Workout's H-Strap, woven tongue label and heel branding. Additionally, the Classic Nylon sees its off-white synthetic suede offset by royal blue leather on the formstripes and vintage colour accents across the midfoot branding, tongue label and heel. 

The Leisure Pack draws on the heritage unique to these kicks and makes them relevant for now. They may have been intended for athletics once, but these are for leisure of a different kind today.
