It's not every day that it's THE Kylie Jenner's birthday 🎉 Oh, and it's not every day that Kylie Cosmetics DROPS on ASOS!! That's right, the beauty mogul is blessing us all with the latest Kylash mascara, lip kits, skincare, pressed powders and lits everything else. To celebrate, we chatted with the Leo-ness and Ky-con herself, Ms Kylie Jenner, about her love for makeup, the sister she’d trust to beat her face AAAANDD the ☕️ on a HUGE new drop 🫨💘 Spoiler: it’s a MAJOR one for the brand. All koming right up!
Firstly, happy birthday, Kylie!!! 🎂 What do you think is your most Leo trait?
Thank you! So many of them... but if I had to pick, I would say loyalty and determination would be the top two.
Love that! On to beauty: can you talk us through your daily skincare and makeup routine...? 💋
It really depends on the day! If I have a shoot, I'll prep my skin with my moisturizer, eye cream and SPF before I head to the studio. If I'm going to meetings or I have a day with my kids, I try to keep things quick and simple. I’ll do brows (ofc), blush or glow balm, then add gloss or a matte lip with my matte liquid eyeshadow and Kylash mascara.
We’re SO excited to have Kylie Cosmetics on ASOS and we have to ask... Do you have any favourites RN?
My Kylash mascara and tinted butter balms. I switch up my lips a LOT and I love my matte lip kits, but my tinted butter balms are great for summer. I've been wearing them a lot lately.

Speaking of the fam💘, what’s the best beauty secret your mum has taught you?
These aren't really secrets, but always remove all of your makeup before you go to sleep and use a good eye cream. My mom was also the one who encouraged and supported me to start my own cosmetics business, so her biggest tip has just been to go for what you want and don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something. I feel like that goes for makeup too... there are no rules. Just wear whatever makes you feel beautiful and matches your mood that day.

What do you want to teach your children about beauty as they get older?
A person can be beautiful for many reasons, with the most important being how they treat other people. Confidence, kindness, compassion... those are things that make people beautiful to me, and qualities that I have always instilled in my children, in the same way my mom did with me and my siblings. Makeup to me is a way to express myself and has always given me confidence. I will always encourage my children to do whatever it is that makes them feel beautiful, strong and confident.
This has already been a MAJOR year for Kylie Cosmetics, launching Ky-lash and now dropping on ASOS. What other exciting things do you have coming up?
We have so much more to come! My brand-new concealer is launching this fall, which I am really excited about [ed note: take our money already plz 💯]. We developed the most incredible concealer brush – I've teased it in my TikToks – and I know everyone is going to love it. I also have some really big things happening in the New Year... You'll have to wait and see, but I'm excited! 2024 is going to be amazing ✨
