Mid-length curls are having a moment – delivering that off-duty, Mediterranean energy we all know and love. The look is defined by loose, uniform-length curls all over the head, resulting in a soft, effortless finish. If you’ve got naturally curly hair, apply a hydrating cream and use a curl-defining brush to tame any frizz. If you’re starting with straight hair, you might need to work a little harder. Work in a curl-activating cream, then gently twirl sections of hair around your finger to create a lock. Gently comb through to loosen the locks and set with a hairspray or a mousse.

Few haircuts are as iconic as the swept-back style, which we’re sure you’ll need for all those upcoming RSVPs. The secret is pomade. Water-based pomades are easier to wash out, but our favourites are wax-based for longer-lasting, shinier results. If you have type 3 or 4 hair and some extra length to work with, locs are a worthwhile commitment. And with the right products, you’ll look just as fresh as Djed Spence or Jules Koundé in no time.
