INSTANTLY UPGRADE YOUR SPRING LOOKS WITH THESE ACCESSORIES

You may consider accessories to be little more than optional add-ons when it comes to your outfits, but we prefer to call them amplifiers. A belt can make an everyday outfit feel elevated, a necklace fills empty space, a bag can add dimension or colour. Basically, accessories can instantly upgrade any look. Want proof? Look no further than your favourite stars. You'd never catch Lewis Hamilton, Jacob Elordi or Bad Bunny without a extra something to amp up the A-lister energy – accessories are just that important. So from this spring onwards, make them a priority in your sartorial process. Where to start? Right here. We’ve curated all the spring accessories you need to fill out your new-season wardrobe.

STATEMENT SUNGLASSES

Lewis Hamilton deserves all the hype. Not just because he’s Formula 1's MVP, but because his dedication to sunglasses – and serving looks as a whole – is truly inspirational. From blacked-out Ray-Ban Wayfarers to mirrored silhouettes, eyewear is integral to his aesthetic. Sunnies are key for going incognito (or maybe he’s just sunshine-conscious), but they're also key to his looks hitting the way they do. This spring, channel Lewis energy with contemporary aviators and dynamic, sporty styles.

BARELY THERE BELTS

Maximalist belts have had their moment. The Western wave popularised rodeo-ready buckles, while blinding gem-studded belts paid homage to Pharrell’s iconic 00s streetwear. But we’ve circled back to an enduring icon: the skinny belt. A brown or black barely there style is the ultimate understated accessory, offering all the utility without the excess. Whether your go-to is barrel, straight or baggy denim – or maybe you're making jorts your warm-weather staple instead – pull all your looks together with these spring belts.

UNCONVENTIONAL BAGS

Let’s face it: your current bag rotation has seen it all. That mini crossbody comes with you to every RSVP. Your backpack has hauled your laptop hundreds of miles on the weekday commute. They have their purposes, but it’s time to swap them out for something more statement. Look to Jacob Elordi for inspiration – his envy-inducing collection proves bags are a truly timeless accessory. If bold silhouettes seem daunting, punchy colours are just as standout. A hot pink or cobalt bag is just as defiant of the status quo.

OVER-THE-SHOULDER KNITS

We know knits aren’t technically an accessory. But thanks to those with a penchant for prep, slinging your favourite jumper over your shoulder is now this season's must-have styling hack. While any jumper or cardigan will do, pastel knits are our favourite to play around with at this time of year. If you’re aiming for a smart-casual look, drape a knit over your shirts or polos, and finish with low-pros or loafers for an easy win. With any luck, you won't actually have to put it on this season.
