#1: HARRINGTON JACKETS

The Harrington jacket’s origins lie in the 1930s, but you probably associate it most with Mod culture, and more recently the likes of Pete Doherty and Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner. In the latter half of 2024, it's seen yet another resurgence, particularly leather iterations – as shown by @manawaowens and @zayedblv. It’s the perfect transitional layer, so we’re predicting it’ll continue trending into spring.

#2: CARDIGANS

With Jacob Elordi’s post-Saltburn popularity came everyone’s obsession with his aesthetic. Enter: the cardigan. Once a staple associated solely with grandparents and school kids, the cardigan has made a comeback, and it’s the perfect layering piece alongside preppy separates, proven here by @ramzan_miah.

#3: COBALT BLUE

Cobalt blue was on all the runways for SS24 and AW24, and we’re taking it into 2025 with us. Whether you want a pop of colour or a full colour-drench moment, it’s an electric shade sure to bring that dopamine hit to those grey January skies. Thanks for the inspo, @ahmedbaddrr7.

#4: TIMBERLANDS

Here, @sylablin and @meechnextdoor show us how to style Timberlands two different ways, and they’re both street-certified. 2024 gave us the return of Timberlands – a boot we haven’t seen in the mainstream since the 2010s. A streetwear icon with roots in Hip-Hop culture, Timbs will always be around – here’s to styling them with all our everyday looks in the new year.

#5: WESTERN

@mlmaxjaiteh is proving that the western trend can be wearable for everyday. The black Harrington silhouette (we told you it’s popular!) with fringing along the yoke combined with silver boots and coordinating accessories says ‘futuristic’, without being too ‘yeehaw’ – we’re definitely mirroring this in our 2025 looks.
