Deleting your ASOS account
You need to have an ASOS account to update your details. Once you’re logged in, just follow the steps below:
- Password – Select ‘Change password’ and enter your current password, followed by your new one. Just make sure it’s between 10 and 100 characters.
- Email address – Head to 'My Details' and enter the email address you'd like to be contacted on.
- Delivery address – Go to ‘Address book’, then select ‘Add new address’. If this is your preferred default or delivery address, remember to set it as your default.
- Payment methods – Open the ‘Payment Methods’ to see what’s saved. You can add a new one or update your details.
- Contact preferences – Select ‘Contact preferences’ and choose how you’d like to hear from us about our latest exclusives and promotions.
Don’t forget to save your changes. Just so you know, any changes won’t affect orders you’ve already placed.
If you can't remember your password, follow the 'Forgotten password?' link on the sign-in page. You'll be asked to enter your ASOS email address. We'll then email you a link directly to your registered email address that will allow you to create a new password for your account.
Can’t find the email? We recommend checking your spam or junk folder.
Please note: if you enter your email address and/or password incorrectly three times, your account will be locked for 30 minutes.
Creating a new ASOS Account? you can link your social media account to your ASOS one by registering with your Apple ID, Facebook or Google account.
If you chose to hide your personal email address when registering with your Apple ID, Apple will generate an email address for you. To find out the generated email address, go to the Apple ID settings on your device or sign in to your Apple ID account page.
Already have an ASOS account? You won’t be able to link a new social media account to your ASOS account.
Already registered using a social media account? If you'd like to add a password for your account, don't select the Apple, Facebook or Google sign-in buttons.
Instead:
- Enter the email address linked to your Apple, Facebook or Google account into the email field on the sign-in page.
- Select 'Continue'.
- If we recognise your account, you'll see the option to 'Set Password'.
Once you've set a password, you can sign in using either your email address and password or your Apple, Facebook or Google login.
Want to unlink your social media account? Head to the ‘Social accounts’ tab in 'My Account' and select ‘Disconnect’. If you signed up using a social account, you’ll need to create a password to keep accessing your account using your email address.
Please note: if you unlink your social account, you won’t be able to link a different one later.
If you'd like to delete your ASOS account, here’s how to do it:
iOS App: log in to your account and go to your account page. Then, press on the cog icon (top right-hand corner), where you’ll see the option to delete your account. Select this option, and then follow the steps as described on screen.
Android App: log in to your account and go to your App Settings (the three lines icon in the top left-hand corner and choose App Settings). Once you have done this, scroll down to the option to 'Delete My Account'. Select this option, and then follow the steps as described on screen.
If you don’t have our App, please get in touch with our Customer Care and provide at least two pieces of the following information:
- Your date of birth;
- Your billing address;
- Your registered email address.
Once you have confirmed this, we’ll be able proceed with deleting your account. Remember, deleting your account is permanent and can't be reversed.
