YOUR MOST HYPED: HOW TO STYLE THESE TRENDING PIECES

Had your eye on a pair of red flip flops or satin lace shorts recently? You’re not the only one. And judging by the stock count, summer’s hottest pieces are hard to pin down. But there are a few sell-outs that create such a cultural shift, we had to bring them back. Enter:  Your Most Hyped. This curated edit features the biggest drops, restocked by major demand. In honour of the season’s standouts, we asked the Editorial team to share their favourites and how they’re styling them for summer. Keep scrolling for a dose of inspo. And just a heads up – these won’t stay in stock for long.

SHEER POLKA DOT SKIRT – EMMA, JUNIOR EDITOR

Starting strong with one of 2026’s biggest talking points: the sheer skirt. ‘I love this trend,’ says Junior Editor Emma, ‘and it’s not as scary as it might seem!’ This maxi skirt combines our favoured print of late – the polka dot – with a soft chocolate-brown fabric. The dark tone creates the perfect level of see-through, making this an easy summer alternative for your usual long skirts. ‘I’ll be styling mine with an oversized tee for extra coverage in the day, or as a cute bikini cover-up on my next holiday,’ says Emma.

LINEN BERMUDA SHORTS – JAZMIN, SENIOR EDITORIAL MANAGER

If there’s one thing we know to be true, it’s that shorts are getting longer. And where linen trousers once ruled our summer rosters, elongated linen cut-offs are now the style of choice. These linen Bermudas are the ultimate fusion of structured and comfy – suitable for the beach, a restaurant and much else besides. Just ask Senior Editorial Manager Jazmin, who’s wearing hers with jelly flip flops and a simple draped top. ‘I love how versatile these shorts are, while adding something a little more interesting than my go-to linen trousers. They’re also super flattering and uber comfortable, so I can’t see myself taking them off.’

It’s often true that the easiest outfits are the best ones – especially during sunny season. ‘When I'm on holiday, I want no-brainer outfits like this co-ord,’ says Freelance Writer Sarah, who's about to embark on a trip to Paris. ‘It's classic, clean and made from cotton so you know it's light and airy. The trousers are elasticated – ideal for all the croissants I'll be mange-ing on.’ Plus, you can never beat the mix-and-match potential of a good set, so when it comes to tops, the world is your oyster.

LACE TRIM YELLOW TOP – FLO, WRITER

We’re not sure if you’ve heard, but dopamine dressing is back on the menu. That means bold colours and edible prints combined with sweet, sun-ready silhouettes. Like this lemon yellow V-neck tank. ‘I’m obsessed with the shade of this top, which injects pure joy into my usual staples. It’s also got a great 90s design thanks to the delicate bow and dramatic neckline,’ says Writer Flo. ‘I’m pairing this with a low-rise midi skirt and kitten heel flip flop sandals for an ode to my favourite millennial style icon: Jenna Rink.’ Flirty and thriving indeed.

SHEER PONCHO – LIZ, JUNIOR EDITOR

Draped designs have slowly trickled down from red carpet statements to everyday staples – and thanks to their floaty finish, lightweight poncho silhouettes make for great mid-summer layering. This ecru piece has made a comeback after several sell-outs, and it’s caught the eye of Junior Editor Liz. ‘This instantly adds dimension to my look,’ says Liz, who’s styling hers with structured jeans and a slick-back bun to contrast the fluid fabric. ‘The semi-sheer knit is a breezy addition to any wardrobe, and you can easily throw it over a bra or cami without overheating in the sun.’ If you’re stumped by the infamous ‘light jacket’ hunt, this finishing layer is the answer.
