Boots will forever have a place in our wardrobes, and this season's offerings are worthy investments. The silhouettes dominating our AW25 moodboards will undoubtedly deliver a fresh take to any cold-weather outfit. From slouchy shapes to flat-riding boots, the runways of Ralph Lauren and Tory Burch provided us with all the inspiration we could hope for. Sleek, classic and versatile, equestrian boots are a style you can reach for year after year. And after popping up in multiple AW25 shows, the appetite for them has grown considerably. 'Riding boots with heritage and 90s influences are setting the tone this season,' says Megan Johnson. 'Go for a knee-high silhouette and sleek chiselled toes in rich suede finishes and chocolate brown shades.' #2: SLOUCHY BOOTS

Speaking of boho, its winter evolution – led by the slouchy boot – marks a shift in fashion’s mood. We’re swapping polished styles for romantic ease – the kind Sienna Miller and Kate Moss were known for in the early 00s. Even labels historically loyal to prep, like Ralph Lauren and Zimmermann, loosened up for AW25. Both collections turned traditional riding silhouettes into boho cold-weather boots – thanks to lived-in wrinkles, neutral leathers and volumised proportions.

Curved-heel boots have mostly gone undetected on the fashion radar, until now. These aren’t your standard, run-of-the-mill style; the heel is experimental and demands clothes to match its sculpted energy. Statement tailoring is the move – like the kind you’d drool over while watching All’s Fair. Think waist-cinching blazers with sharp shoulders, corsets layered on top and sequinned skirts.
