WE CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT THESE EMMYS LOOKS

The Emmys red carpet returned this weekend, and while all eyes turned to the shows and stars nominated, we couldn’t stop staring at the clothes. This year's event was bursting with the crème-de-la-crème of Hollywood royalty, and stars including Ayo Edebiri, Chloë Sevigny and Jenna Ortega graced us with some seriously exceptional looks. Besides the usual gowns and dresses, highlights included avant-garde crystal-encrusted silhouettes, intricate embroidery and fresh takes on old-Hollywood glamour. It was no easy feat, but we’ve rounded up the best looks from the 2025 Emmys.

We don’t like to pick favourites, but we have to say Lisa’s bubble-gum pink gown was the evening’s standout. Designed by Lever Couture, the dress featured an exaggerated slit, tumbling trail, and intricate layers of tulle – resulting in a wispy silhouette straight out of our wardrobe dreams. This is everything a Disney princess wishes she could be and more.

Given her immaculate run of looks on the recent Wednesday Season 2 press tour (and any press tour to be honest), it’s no surprise that Jenna Ortega makes this list. Dripping with Givenchy jewels and crystals, Jenna’s opulent bodice turned major heads on the carpet – nodding to a 90s ensemble worn by Isabella Rossellini’s character in dark-comedy classic Death Becomes Her. We love the deep reds and yellows featured in the stones, conjuring our appetite for the autumnal with a look that’s almost good enough to eat.

CHASE SUI WONDERS

Thom Browne is known for exceptional tailoring, and Chase Sui Wonders put it to good use on the Emmys red carpet. This suit/dress fusion hugs Chase’s figure impeccably, with a cinched waist, structured hip pads, and an elegant Bardot neckline. It's clear this look was created with the utmost craftsmanship – and we wouldn’t be surprised if feminine takes on sharp suiting start cropping up everywhere this season.

SELENA GOMEZ

Whether it’s the successful acting career, recent engagement, or string of hit songs – there’s no denying that Selena Gomez is glowing. And the Emmys proved another opportunity to flaunt her well-deserved happiness. With fiancé Benny Blanco at her side, Selena sported a breathtaking red Louis Vuitton dress complete with an exaggerated neck scarf – nodding to one of autumn’s hottest trends. The thigh-high slit and immaculate fabric made for a look we’ll be thinking about for a while.

Few public figures straddle both the fashion and film halls of fame with equal finesse – but Chloë Sevigny is one exception. The actor proved her sartorial status is well and truly deserved when she stepped out in this velvet Saint Laurent gown, featuring glamorous nods to the gothic. We’re talking embroidered cross details, exaggerated balloon sleeves, and a sleek skirt complete with bold leg slit. If anything has us in the mood for spooky season, it’s this entire situation. And while an all-out velvet number might usually lean more costume – the dark shade and tiny gold flourishes make this every bit as bold and luxurious as Chloë herself.
