INSPIRATION AND ADVICE

YEAR OF THE SNAKE: 5 WAYS TO WEAR SNAKESKIN

Happy Year of the Snake to all who observe! 29 January marks the Lunar New Year in the Chinese zodiac calendar, and 2025 is the Year of the Snake. Traditionally, you'd wear brand-new clothes to ring in the New Year (we've got fresh drops for that), with red being one of the most popular colours to choose from because of its association with good fortune and prosperity. But, animal print is trending right now, so why not take inspiration from some of our favourite (faux) Python-printed looks?

A CO-ORD IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA

If you want to look put-together with minimal effort, a co-ord is that girl. Featuring unmatched versatility and a plethora of styling options, we love the print clash with the classic stripe shirt peeking through the fluffy collar. If a simpler look is more your aesthetic, style with a tonal cardie and knee-high boots instead.

ROCKSTAR GIRLFRIEND-CODED

Nothing screams 'I’m with the band' more than an all-black leather look. Make like Kourtney Kardashian and opt for a darker snakeskin print to maximise the rock-chick vibes. Don't forget your mega platform boots and tinted shades to block out the paps – it's a lifestyle, after all.

THE HERO ITEM

You don’t need to go top-to-toe snake print to make a statement. Choose a hero item and build your look around that. Keep the rest of the outfit simple with fresh tailored trousers and futuristic sunglasses for cool-girl appeal.
