THE BEAT BREAKDOWN: FESTIVAL EDITION

e.l.f. Bronzing Drops, £12

We’re steering clear of *too* much highlighting, but any fun in the sun needs a *little* radiance. Add a touch of shimmer with e.l.f.'s Bronzing Drops – use a large contouring brush and swipe in upwards motions for defined cheekbones. For darker skin tones, try pouring a few drops into your foundation or concealer for a glow-from-within look.

Pink Honey Camo Concealer, £12

If you already have bleached-blonde brows, you’re ahead of the game. But to fake the grunge look, you just need a full-coverage concealer and an angled eyebrow brush. Begin by gelling your brows down in place, then use small, wispy strokes of the concealer in the shape of your natural brows. Set with a translucent powder and you’re good to go. Warning: this look might take some getting used to, but we promise it suits *everyone*.

Morphe Eyeshadow Palette in Gold Seeker, £15

The key to Alex Consani’s eyeshadow look? This Morphe palette. Dab the shade Crème de la Crème onto the centre of your eyelid, then buff Cents and Sensibility into your crease. Gently swipe Fancy That in a V-shape on your outer corner to add more dimension, bringing it down to the lower lashline. Finish off with a touch of Gilty Pleasure, because *every* festival needs some shimmer.

NYX Fat Oil Slick Click Lip Balm, £9

We’re keeping the lip simple with a brow-nude combo. Start off by lining your lips with a cool-toned brown before layering a light brown lipstick or dewy balm on the outer portions of your lips. Pat a lighter brown shade or even a pink over the top to complete the look (this works perfectly for an everyday vibe, too). 

In Your Dreams Eye Jewels, £7.50

We’ve already added a touch of grunge with the blonde brows, but to take it a step further, get a (faux) piercing. Grab that unfinished pack of eyeshadow gems you used last festival season and add one to the top of your brow bone and another to the bottom to mimic a sparkly eyebrow stud.
