It’s busy in the streetwear pantheon – all those new brands jostling for attention. But some brands cut through the noise easier than most. Meet Cernucci. We’re excited about this Brazilian-born, English-bred brand, and for good reason. Each style in our edit reflects its influences: football, hip-hop and everything street culture. Think matching zip-ups and joggers, unexpected embellishments and embroidered logo tees. Need more proof? Let us show you some of our favourites.
THE LOGO TEE

Cernucci's embroidered tee mixes 90s hip-hop with the logomania of 70s and 80s football casuals. You would think that two huge influences might make it difficult to style with what's already in your wardrobe – not so. The off-white colour and subtle stitching mean it'll go with pretty much all your joggers, shorts and jeans. This style is cut from stretchy but structured jersey in a regular fit, so you can layer it comfortably under a hoodie or jacket.
THE JORTS

They’re not cut from jersey like a regular pair – they’re actually made from scuba-style fabric, which is just as stretchy and soft, but has a little bit more structure. The right-back pocket is embroidered with a tonal ‘C’, while the waistband is stitched with the kind of embossed tag you’d normally find on jeans.

While the brand's jorts, jeans and tees have a healthy dose of sparkle, it’s incorporated in a way that feels deliberate and cool. Take this rhinestoned tee, for example. It’s cut from black cotton jersey in an oversized fit, so the weighty fabric hangs really well. The rhinestones are grouped mostly at the bottom, creating an ombre effect without causing the fabric to warp.
THE TRACK JACKET

Cernucci’s track jacket is – to borrow a phrase normally connected with mullets – business in the front and party in the back. Viewed head-on, it’s a crisp track jacket cut from black nylon with white contrast trims. On the back, you’ll see a statement logo printed in a big, blown-up gothic font. Zip it all the way up to create a funnel neck or leave a few inches unfastened and fold it into a collar.
