WHAT TO WEAR TO THE LUKE COMBS TOUR

The singer-songwriter is introducing his sixth album, The Way I Am, with a stadium tour, and hopefully you’ve secured tickets. Maybe you’re a Bootlegger (the nickname for a Combs fan) or maybe you’re just a boot-scootin’ good ol' boy. Either way, you’re probably in the market for a gig ‘fit. So if you're still wondering what to wear to a Luke Combs concert – why not take a few tips from the man himself? We have some thoughts.

An outfit is like a house – in order to be well-built, it needs a solid foundation. Combs himself is a big fan of reliable workwear classics (according to Columbia, he owns between 30 and 40 of their shirts). You could also lean into a rugged and outdoorsy mood with hard-wearing jeans and trucker jackets from the likes of Levi’s, Dickies and Carhartt WIP.

If you’re looking to break up a workwear-inflected outfit with a pattern, there’s really only one correct choice: camo. It could be something as simple as Aape by A Bathing Ape’s patterned socks, or it can be something properly attention-bagging like Levi’s cargo trousers. A tip: choose one camo style per ‘fit. More than that will look like you’re about to go fishing.

Combs is rarely seen without his trademark trucker cap, whether he’s performing Fast Car on stage or suffering heroically through a Hot Ones video. Combs is no stranger to an elaborate Western boot – think jewel-tone snakeskin and authentic cowboy pairs with all the bells and whistles. Mostly though, he’s in favour of good sturdy footwear.
