If you thought Euro summer was a thing of last year, think again. Alongside Greece and Spain, Italy’s retained its place on the podium of hot summer destinations – and its crown isn’t slipping anytime soon. The appeal? Endless iconic landmarks, a rich culture, weather that puts the UK to shame, and it's a fashion hub. Considering the latter, you’ve got to dress to impress if Italy’s on your calendar. But don’t sweat – we’ve done the heavy lifting for you with five outfits for every situation, from shopping to chilling.

#1: THE EVERYDAY

Italy’s relationship with football is less sport, more 'religione', so lean into the culture by making your look all about terracecore. You know, a football jersey, adidas low-pro and jorts kind of 'fit – it’s a three-piece formula that never fails, and it'll be comfy for everyday. To finish the look (and protect yourself from the sun's rays), throw on a sporty cap with a recognisable logo.

#2: SIGHTSEEING

Whether you’ll be snapping that photo with the Leaning Tower of Pisa (you know which one we mean) or borderline breaking your neck staring at Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel masterpiece, you need to look good and feel even better. Let’s be real, if you’re going to Italy there’s a high chance it’s one of the big three: Venice, Rome or Milan. If the latter’s your destination, expect lots of time shopping – or window shopping, we don’t judge – on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Either way, you’d better dress the part.
