STYLE AND CULTURE

WE CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT THESE PEDRO PASCAL LOOKS

Lead roles in The Mandalorian, Gladiator II and The Last of Us and have sent Pedro Pascal into Hollywood’s upper echelons, but our eyes are on him for another reason – his style. We love a man with duality – from wearing a grandpa-coded cardigan during a now-viral coffee run to becoming a tailoring master, serving comes naturally to him. Pedro’s really been honing into his internet-bestowed 'daddy' title for the past few years – just look at the examples below.

Tuxedos don’t exist in the Pedro Pascal tailoring playbook – if he’s going to suit up, it’s going to be flirty, relaxed, and usually have a knit to break up the set. While other A-listers took the easier route on the SNL50 red carpet, Pedro stood out in a brown boxy suit and matching jumper. The highlight of the look? The high waist, belt and his ultra-suave hairstyle.

Nothing’s more satisfying than celebs matching their red carpet looks to the theme. Pedro wore a near-sheer yellow shirt, a mustard knit tied over his neck and grey flared trousers to complement The Mandalorian’s yellow branding – a spring-ready colour palette and 70s flair. Bury us in primary colours all season.

The viral coffee moment lives in our brain rent-free. Whether the cardigan’s super sparkly or just aggressively salt-and-peppered isn’t important – what *is* is how he styled it. Pedro’s known for bending traditionally hyper-masc fashion to his whim; divert your attention to the just-showing mesh top. Next time you want to make a statement, you know who to reference.

SS25’s big on broderie, crochet and raffia – Pedro’s Mandalorian photocall look was lowkey ahead of its time. Saying no to the status quo, he served high-low realness by dialling down the smart trousers with help from a cropped crochet cardigan. Recreate this look for your upcoming getaways by swapping the chunky boots for sandals.

When Pedro *does* go black-tie – which is rare – he does it his way. Powerfully creased and slightly hanging off his skin, his Vanity Fair Oscars party tailoring was laid-back and relaxed – just like his personality. He also swapped the traditional smart shirt for a grandad collar for an old-school edge. Chef’s kiss.
