Unable to find apparel that expressed his style the way he wanted, Karl Kani decided to take matters into his own hands. At just 16, the Brooklyn-born designer began making his own clothes to reflect the hip-hop influences and street culture he grew up with and that helped shape him. Today, Karl Kani is best known for his eponymous fashion label – which is now available on ASOS. Check out our edit of the brand’s shirts, sweats, denim and accessories.
