FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

What You Need To Know:

 

We love running promotions for you and we want to be as clear as possible on how you enter, and how the prize is drawn. Please read the nuts and bolts below for the full details.

 

1. We know that there are ASOS lovers all around the world, but this promotion is only open to UK residents who are aged 18 or over and hold a valid Mastercard issued by a UK financial institution. So that we are completely fair, anyone employed by ASOS, Mastercard, PromoVeritas or Big Group, their families (parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners) and professionally connected to this promotion is not allowed to enter.

 

2. You will need to make a purchase by checking out directly with a valid Mastercard, (i.e. payment made using digital wallets such as ApplePay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, PayPal will not count) to take part in this promotion. You will also need to have access to the internet, an email address and mobile number in order to enter.

 

3. Promotion Period: Purchase & enter between 00:01 GMT on the 8 January 2025 and 23:59 GMT on the 31 January 2025 inclusive.

 

4. To Enter: Entering this promotion is simple, visit https://forms.office.com/e/LRJBu1EadX and complete the online form providing your details (full name, email address and phone number). Then, purchase any product on www.asos.com (no minimum spend) and use your Mastercard directly at the checkout to be entered into the Prize Draw.

 

5. You may only enter once during the Promotion Period.

 

6. The Prize: There will be 1 winner. The winner will win 1 x pair of Level 1 tickets to The BRIT Awards 2025 on the 1 March 2025 at The O2 Arena, London, for the winner and a guest including:

a. VIP access to the Red Carpet for the winner and a guest;

b. 2 x Level 1 tickets to The BRIT Awards 2025 (premier dedicated seating);

c. 1 x 3-course dinner in an exclusive dining area including ½ bottle of wine per person for the winner and a guest (shared at a table for 10);

d. 2 x tickets to The Official BRITs After Show Party for the winner and a guest; and

e. 1 night’s accommodation at a 5* hotel in London in a standard double room for the winner and a guest, subject to availability.

 

7. Further Prize Details and Conditions:

a. The winner and their guest must be aged 18 or over.

b. The BRIT Awards 2025 with Mastercard will take place on Saturday 1 March 2025 at The O2 in London (“Event”).

c. The Prize package (and associated tickets) is personal to the winner and the sale or offering for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange of any tickets and/or part of any of the Prize package is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online ticket resale marketplace). BRIT Awards Limited and/or ASOS reserve the right to cancel tickets and withdraw or make void any and all Prize elements if this term is not complied with.

d. The Prize package (and associated tickets) is as stated and nothing else is included. All elements must be taken as part of the same Prize package. There is no cash or other alternative for the Prize in whole or in part.

e. The winner and their guest acknowledge and agree that they are subject to the full terms and conditions of the tickets, which can be viewed at https://www.brits.co.uk/terms-and-conditions (“Ticket Terms and Conditions”). The Ticket Terms and Conditions are subject to change from time to time and may include the requirement for ticket holders to present valid photo ID (passport or driving licence) and/or other forms of identification (such as a debit or credit card) upon entry to the Event to ensure that the ticket holder is the same as the person named on their ticket. Failure to comply with any of the Ticket Terms and Conditions may result in refused entry, or the ticket holders being required to leave the Event.

f. The winner and their guest acknowledge and agree that they are subject to the full terms and conditions of The O2 (the “Venue”), which can be viewed on the Venue’s website (“Venue Terms and Conditions”). The Venue reserves the right to remove any person or refuse any person entry to The BRIT Awards 2025 with Mastercard regardless of whether they have a valid ticket in case of any breach of the Venue Terms and Conditions. No money shall be refunded if a ticket is declared void or if a ticket holder is refused admission or is removed from the Event because of a breach of the Ticket Terms and Conditions or breach of the Venue Terms and Conditions.

g. You and your guest will need to stick to the rules, which, don’t forget are part of your Prize. And particularly, whilst at the event/venue, you must not: be drunk, intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, underage, be abusive, threatening, make or incite racial abuse, chant, use offensive language, make obscene gestures, throw items, behave anti-socially, carry laser pens, bring animals (except guide dogs), carry offensive weapons or illegal substances, carry candles, climb any structure, make excessive noise, offer any item for sale, damage the venue or smoke. If you don’t stick to these Terms and Conditions then we may not let you in, we may refuse to serve you, or you may be asked to leave the event/venue. In any of these circumstances, the winner and/or their guest will not receive any compensation. Drinks from the dinner cannot be taken into The O2 Arena for the Event.

h. PromoVeritas will contact the winner as soon as possible in case the delivery of any of the Prize elements is delayed or is not able to be delivered for any reason.

i. The winner’s full name, contact number and email address will be shared with Mastercard’s service provider The Big Group Limited and BRIT Awards Limited for the purposes of fulfilling the prize. Big Group will then collect the full name of the guest accompanying the winner. A copy of Big Group’s Privacy Policy is available at www.biggroup.co.uk/privacy. A copy of BRIT Awards Limited is available at www.brits.co.uk/privacy-policy.

j. If for any reason the event doesn’t go ahead as planned, e.g. because it has been cancelled or any other cause beyond our control which affects the running or conduct of this promotion, we may in our sole discretion cancel the Prize and will not re-award any additional tickets to the winner or reimburse any incurred expenses by the winner as a result of winning or accepting the Prize.

k. ASOS, its agents and BRIT Awards Limited do not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Promotion or as a result of accepting a prize or any element of a prize. Insofar as is permitted by law, ASOS, its agents and BRIT Awards Limited are not liable or responsible for any injury, loss or damage to persons or property arising from or caused by the weather, acts of God, war, accident, pandemic or epidemic and any related government action or any other government restrictions or regulations, or from an act or omission of any individual or condition beyond its control.

l. The Prize includes accommodation at a 4* hotel in London on the 1 March 2025 based on the winner and their guest sharing a double/twin room, subject to availability and Mastercard’s discretion.

m. We'll pay the cost of the standard room plus related room taxes.

n. A valid credit or debit card will be required to check in to your room and will be used to guarantee any incidentals such as in- room calls or services.

o. As the winner, you'll be solely responsible for any additional charges incurred at the hotel during your stay, including, without limitation, costs of meals, drinks, additional nights and services together with related taxes.

p. Tickets and hotel accommodation are courtesy of Mastercard.

q. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize does not include additional food, beverages, souvenirs or any other costs of a personal nature (including spending money) that are not expressly set out in these Terms and Conditions and neither ASOS nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.

r. At all times, ASOS will have the discretion as to how to implement the Prize fulfilment.

s. Failure to comply with any of the applicable Terms and Conditions may result in the withdrawal of the Prize, at ASOS’s, Mastercard’s and/or Big Group’s discretion.

 

8. Winner Selection: So that you know we’ve selected our winner fairly from all the valid entries we receive, the random draw will be carried out by PromoVeritas, the independent promotional verification service, to select 1 provisional winner. The draw will take place within 5 working days of the end of the Promotion Period.

 

9. Contacting the Winner: PromoVeritas will contact the provisional winner via the email address and phone number provided on entry within 5 working days of Winner Selection and they will be asked to provide evidence of identity and eligibility. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. Once eligibility has been confirmed, the provisional winner will be confirmed as the winner. If the provisional winner does not respond to the initial contact within 3 days, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant and award the Prize to a reserve selected in the same manner. Reserve winners may have less time to respond.

 

10. Prize Acceptance: If you are our lucky winner, notification to arrange fulfilment of the Prize will take place within 5 working days of acceptance of the Prize. In the unlikely event that the winner has not received communication to arrange their Prize, the winner must inform us by emailing asosmastercard@promowinners.com. If you don’t let us know within this time frame, we will reserve the right to not reissue the Prize or limit its value at our sole discretion.

 

12. Moderation: We can’t accept any entries which we think:

a. Contain any content that is likely to be considered offensive by us or could reflect negatively the name, reputation, or goodwill of ASOS or any brand partner;

b. Include trademarks, logos, or copyrighted material not owned by you or used without the right holder's prior written permission (including famous names, company names, etc.);

c. Defames, misrepresents, or insult other people or companies, including, but not limited to ASOS (including its partners); or

d. Promotes any political agenda.

 

13. Provided no objection is received from the winner, we’ll make a winner list containing the surname and county of residence of the winner available 4 weeks after the close of the Promotion Period, for a period of 8 weeks. It will be available by sending a request via email to noreply@asos.com. The winner can object to their details being published during the Winner Notification process; however, we will provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority when requested by them.

 

14. Sorry, but you can’t transfer a Prize to someone else or exchange it for a cash alternative.

 

15. If, for reasons we can’t control, the Prize is no longer available, we’ll offer you an alternative prize which we hope you’ll still love but which will definitely be of equal or greater value.

 

The Legal and Other Bits

No one likes the small print, but we need to let you know about some other important stuff too and make you feel comfortable that we run our promotions properly, fairly (and legally!):

 

16. Data Privacy: We care a lot about the security of your personal data and it will be held in accordance with our Privacy Policy here: https://www.asos.com/privacy-policy/ and will be used for the purposes of this promotion and for research and analytical purposes. We will only share your data with our fulfilment Partners for the purposes of fulfilling this promotion.

 

17. ASOS may request that the winner participates in reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion. Participation is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of Prize Acceptance.

 

18. We seek to run a fair and secure promotions and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entry (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified, any prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and we reserve the right to bar you from entering future promotions of ours for a period of at least six months.  For this reason, we reserve the right at any point to:

a. Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or the provisional winner through multiple means by requesting such information we consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Prize may be withheld unless and until verification is completed satisfactorily.

b. Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.

c. Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.

d. Disqualify bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.

e. Disqualify entries using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.

f. Disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process.

g. Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not fully meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions.

h. Cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of ASOS which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion.

 

19. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. We can’t guarantee continuous or secure access to www.asos.com or www.asos.com/partnerships/mastercard/.

 

20. We and our associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion (reference number JS15348) or accepting or using the/a Prize(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promotor’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

 

21. We won’t be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances.

 

22. If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.

 

23. By entering, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

 

24. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.

 

25. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Residents of Scotland and Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their own jurisdiction.
