EMMA STONE’S ACTORS AWARDS LOOK IS ALL WE CAN THINK ABOUT RIGHT NOW

There were a few firsts at last night's Actors Awards. The most obvious – a name change. The previously known Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards are no more, so you'd be forgiven for doing a double-take when scrolling through the red-carpet looks on socials this morning. The most exciting first, though – there was a dress code! Titled, Reimagining Hollywood Glamour From The 1920s and 1930s, this theme perfectly captured everything we want from a red carpet, and the actors didn't disappoint. In fact, one in particular had a field day.

Elizabeth Taylor eat your heart out.

‘Glamour’ may as well be Emma Stone's middle name at this point. Her 2026 red-carpet portfolio already boasts a butter-yellow Golden Globes moment and a slinky black halterneck gown at the BAFTAs – looks so good you might even go as far as to say she's turning into our generation's very own Elizabeth Taylor. Either way, it's fair to say Emma never shies away from making a statement, and the topic on everyone’s tongues last night: a glittering lilac Louis Vuitton look.

RECREATE EMMA'S LOOK:

Lilac Dresses and Cardigans

The dress code bore some classic looks: black-and-white gowns, sweetheart necklines and flapper-inspired feathers, but Emma took a slightly more unexpected approach. Her custom LV slip was undoubtedly 1920s-inspired in silhouette, but came in a notably 2026 lilac shade, which she coordinated with a velvet cardigan for a textural touch. With its beaded finish, slinky silhouette and spaghetti straps, the dress continues Emma’s impeccable event-dressing run.

And while we can’t all be Louis Vuitton ambassadors, you can still reach Emma’s occasionwear pedigree for your SS26 RSVPs. Just choose your favourite pastel shade – whether that's lilac, powder blue or baby pink – and toss a lightweight layer over your shoulders for a delicate, Emma-inspired refresh.
