What was your most memorable on-set moment?
'There's a scene where I'm teaching my brother how to swim, but the lake we were filming in was fucking Baltic. I had to be naked too, so I got the piss taken out of me.'
Describe yourself in three words or less.
Who is your BFF?
'I'm really good friends with Elliott Tittensor who used to be in Shameless. We used to live together and then we were both cast in a film called Spike Island playing best friends. It was mad.'
If you were to name a cocktail after yourself, what would you call it?
'At school I used to get called Nemo Miracle Grow because it sounded a bit like my name. I'll have that!'
What was the last thing that made you cry?
'Sharon Rooney [as Rae] when she was burning herself in My Mad Fat Diary. I don't cry at a lot of things but me, my mum and sister watched it on TV and we all cried.'
Have you ever been mistaken for another celebrity?
'People have come up to me and thought I was [One Direction’s] Liam Payne. I've had Justin Bieber a bit too. I don't see it at all, but apparently so.'
What's your life motto?
'I always think it's better to have and not need, than to need and not have.'
Who was the last band you saw live?
'The Marivaux, they’re an up-and-coming band in Manchester. They’re indie but they can rock out so I went a bit mad at their gig. It was a really good night.'
What's your party trick?
'I can do unlimited kick-ups with a football. I've told people now, so I've got to prove it.'
Do you have a guilty pleasure?
‘Watching about 10 episodes of Breaking Bad at once. I can stick it on as soon as I get up at 9am and have it on for the next four hours.’
Who is your secret crush?
‘Marion Cotillard in Rust and Bones.
What would your Come Dine With Me dish be?
'Creamy salmon tagliatelle. People have got to try it, it's amazing.’
