Kaiser Karl has become as iconic as the houses he’s helmed over the years, so it’s no surprise that it’s the godfather of fashion himself that takes centre stage in Vans’ latest collaboration. The unmistakable aesthetics of both brands have been combined, with the master of monochrome reshaping the Sidestripe’s signature checkerboard pattern on the Slip-On around his own silhouette.

And it’s not just new patterns on offer. This drop sees the debut of an all-new design in the form of the Old Skool Laceless Platform. The double-stacked, creeper-style sole is already a firm favorite for us — but stripping away the laces for a boldly branded vamp that leaves you in no doubt who’s created your kicks is just another plus. 

If you opt for the Slip-Ons, mix up your patterns with a pair of striped, paper-bag-waist trousers and varsity-style jumper, then layer on necklaces for extra decoration.
