EVERYTHING ON OUR RADAR THIS MONTH

With the second of the ‘ber months out of the way, we’re officially in winter territory. The clocks have changed, the days are colder, and we’re all spending a lot more time indoors. Good thing, then, that November has some of 2025’s biggest onscreen debuts and comebacks. From the highly anticipated Wicked sequel to major Netflix releases including Stranger Things and a monstrous Jacob Elordi in Frankenstein, there’s plenty to keep us entertained from the comfort of the sofa. And if you’re still braving a busy social schedule, there are plenty of other events worth pinning in the calendar. Scroll to find out what’s on this month.

FRANKENSTEIN: 7 NOVEMBER

Halloween may be behind us, but that’s no reason not to indulge in a little spooky cinema. Guillermo del Toro (the mastermind behind Pan’s Labyrinth and The Shape of Water) is back with a bold reimagining of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein – arguably the most famous horror story of all time. And if you needed any more reasons to tune in, the cast is studded with stars including Mia Goth (our favourite scream queen) and Jacob Elordi as Frankenstein’s creature. Given it reportedly took 11 hours in the makeup chair to transform him into character, we figure the outcome will be nothing short of jaw dropping.

STRANGER THINGS SEASON 5 (PART 1): 26 NOVEMBER

A hotly anticipated on-screen comeback is headed to Netflix later this month. Over three years after season 4 ended, Stranger Things returns with the first part of its final chapter. The cast are far from the 12-year-old kids they were in the very first episode, and while the plot has been kept heavily under wraps, we can expect a nail-biting finale that wraps up every loose end left after Vecna wreaked havoc on Hawkins. If there was ever a reason to get your gang together for a watch party, this is it.

WICKED: FOR GOOD: 21 NOVEMBER

A year to the day since the spellbinding first instalment, Wicked is returning to our screens at the end of the month. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande reprise their roles as Elphaba and Galinda, and deliver a second helping of spine-tingling songs from the second act of the legendary musical. Expect plenty of plot twists, gravity-defying dance numbers, and even an appearance from Dorothy. If you need us, we’ll be in Oz.

FLORENCE & THE MACHINE, EVERYBODY SCREAM: 31 OCTOBER

Fittingly releasing on Halloween, Florence & the Machine’s new studio album Everybody Scream is an ode to the natural world and a vulnerable exploration of mercy, strength and growth. It's the band’s sixth record since forming in 2007, and we’re sure every track will serve as the moody soundtrack to the coming winter months. Plus, you can catch them live on the Everybody Scream tour next year. This one’s for the grungy boho in all of us.

FKA TWIGS, EUSEXUA AFTERGLOW: 14 NOVEMBER

Another artist known for pushing creative boundaries is FKA Twigs, who also blesses our eardrums with a new November album. Eusexua Afterglow is the follow-up to Twigs’ critically acclaimed record Eusexua, so we can expect plenty of rave-ready dance tracks to perk up the end of 2025.

ROSALÍA, LUX: 7 NOVEMBER

It’s been three years since Rosalía’s last album, and needless to say, her musical absence has been felt. The Spanish singer has treated us to countless bops including TKN and Con Altura. Now, she’s back with her new record Lux – and if the just-dropped single Berghain is anything to go by, Rosalía did not come to play. Merging techno beats with orchestral sounds, this is a smorgasbord of sound we can’t wait to sink our teeth into.

WES ANDERSON: THE ARCHIVES, THE DESIGN MUSEUM: 21 NOVEMBER 2025 – 26 JULY 2026

If you’re itching to get out and about this month but struggle to find activities that don’t revolve around the pub, then London’s gallery circuit has some treats in store. Top of our list is the Wes Anderson retrospective at the Design Museum, exploring the director’s personal archives, evolution, and exclusive design stories behind some of his biggest films. Besides the incredible collection of over 600 objects on display, you can rest assured this exhibition will deliver on the aesthetic front – so there’ll be plenty of opportunities for an envy-inducing Instagram story.

FIREWORKS NIGHT: 5 NOVEMBER

Of course, we can’t address November’s calendar without a fireworks shoutout. It might not be the biggest event of the year, but this sparkly night out is a mainstay of British culture and a cosy reminder that Christmas is around the corner. From caramel apples to bonfires, you can expect all the best bits of autumn to come together on 5 November. And if nothing else, it’s a great excuse to pull out your sequin wardrobe pieces if you can’t wait until the office Christmas party.
