Paris: the home of croissants, the Eiffel Tower, and of course, Haute Couture. Marking the end of fashion month (until September), Couture showcases the pinnacle of craftsmanship, and this season did not disappoint. In summary, no, we’re not over Schiaparelli yet, and yes, we are still obsessed with *THAT* Viktor & Rolf show. *TREND ALERT* HYPER TEXTURE
We noticed A LOT of 3D textures and sculptural fabric throughout the week and we're convinced it'll be a new trend. Key shows to note were Thom Browne who played with muslin blocks, ruffled ridges and embroidered layers and the Iris Van Herpen show which featured hypnotic intertwined fabrics and draped tulle. Adding texture into our OOTDs as we speak...
