ICYMI, the new-szn wave is all about serving punk realness, so we're throwing it allll the way back with a crash course in rockstar dressing ft. loaaaads of baggy gear and versatile basics, with a lil normcore squeezed in, too 🎸 Whether you've got a drum set in the garage or your musical skills are more, um, limited (DW there's always a main character that needs to keep a crowd entertained) there's a 'fit for you! Mic check! 1, 2…. 🎤

THE LEAD SINGER

AKA the heart-throb 💘 Probs rocking an electric guitar, probs has the most rizz and would def wear a cropped ringer tee with a graphic slogan on it. Obvs, the tee is the perf match for a classic pair of baggy jeans and boxfresh sneaks 👖 Pro tip: add a lil ✨spice✨ with a visible boxer waistband under the jeans – you’ll be on the highway to a Hollywood record deal in no time (+ some random movie cameos.)

THE DRUMMER

The drummer's always got a mysterious edge to them (think Travis Barker), they're veryyyyy 🔥 and have effortlessly cool style – nail it by choosing extra large proportions, all-black 'fits and layers. We love upgrading a monochromatic 'fit by using abstract lines, textures and prints, so the OG punk pattern – plaid – is a MUST 🔊 Bonus brownie points if you layer a mesh long-sleeve under the tee, too!

THE BASSIST

The bassist's mellow mood gravitates to darker washes, and they're a certified sweater boy 🖤 A dark gray graphic sweatshirt with some wide-leg cargos is basically the uniform – normcore with punk peeking through the seams. But if denim is more your pref, some distressed jeans will do the trick 🪄

THE KEYBOARDIST

This one's free-spirited and it shows in the 'fits, which look super effortless 😎 A good ol’ plaid flannel + basic-tank combo is always a win, and some silver jewelry and metal accents are guaranteed to turn the combo up to an 11 💎 The bottom half can be anything, from ripped jorts to skinny jeans – the punk world is your oyster 🌎
