5 TRAVIS SCOTT OUTFITS
By Sam Higgins, April 30, 2017
Houston's had many problems, but Travis Scott is not one of them. Not only is he probably the city's most notable hip-hop export, he’s easily one of its most stylish, too. Join us as we take a look at five times the rapper’s style choices made us shout "it’s lit!"

Print-clashing pair
It’s one thing to successfully pull off a discordant duo of prints, but it’s another to achieve that clash while also coordinating your top with your bottle of fizzy soda. But as he’s seemingly on a mission to encompass every aspect of style, Travis Scott wasn’t fazed by the challenge. An oversized blue plaid shirt — when paired with his light-wash jeans — gave his 'fit a tonal touch, before he cut up the synchronicity with a clashing, Fanta-flavored, yellow-and-green-striped tee (and some actual Fanta).

A bird on the tee is worth two in the trap
We have to assume Travis has a particular affinity towards fauna, because, not only is his album titled Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, he seems partial to an eagle-printed T-shirt, too. Here, the songbird’s riff on the faded vintage tee perches atop some mismatching red and white side-striped track pants and a neat pair of burgundy Vans to complete a simple, well-curated look.

Camo cool
Despite spending half of the time shielding his face and striking his signature pose, Travis has evidently managed to keep at least one eye on the latest trends. We’ve seen him hop on the dadcore bandwagon, purvey some print-clashing perfection, rework vintage pieces and, here, the rapper is teaching us all how to nail camo couture. Lesson one: keep the palette fresh below the belt with light-wash jeans and pearly white trainers. Lesson two: showcase the military print on a puffy coat and tactically drape it just enough for a tonal reveal of a boxy, green hoodie.

Color-coordinated king
It’s rare that a rapper possesses a wardrobe as diverse as Travis Scott’s. That said, his love for hype-label looks is a consistent theme in his dressing, one that sees Supreme box logos regularly adorning his tees, sweatshirts and hoodies. But this outfit isn't just a showcase of the uncoppable — with tactical color coordination (logo, joggers, bag) and fresh white kicks to finish, it’s another display of Scott's sartorial nous.
