#1 CITRUS BRIGHTS

You might have immediately thought 'white' is the perfect tan combo. And yes, that color is on the list, but a zestier option is the perfect way to show your glow AND get your look well and truly noticed. The tangerine dream above is about as bold as it gets and look at what we have underneath? An accompanying white tank. We knew we wouldn't get too far into this without referencing everyones go-to hue.

#2 FROSTY WHITE

White's a no-brainer – it'll create maximum contrast to give the illusion of a deeper tan. While all-white can work well, why not mix it up with a pair of pants in a warming sunset shade? They don't have to be as out-there as the ones above, but honestly, it's a certified look.

#3 BLUE HUES

There's science behind our logic: almost all blues will make a tan look darker, but it's the shadeson the blue-green/turquoise spectrum that have maximum impact. Of course, knitwear isn't ideal for showing off your tan, but the flex lies in teaming your sweater or jacket with short shorts. It's a beer garden winner waiting to happen.
