ANTHONY BOYLE’S RED-CARPET LOOKS ARE COOLER THAN A FRESHLY POURED GUINNESS

House of Guinness has propelled Anthony Boyle into the stratosphere. Everywhere you look, people are talking about him. And whether it’s about his stellar performance as Arthur Guinness, that bath scene which gives Saltburn’s own bath moment a run for its money or his ability to grow an impeccable moustache – we’re not complaining (seriously, we even interviewed his on-screen wife Danielle Galligan!). After breakout roles in Say Nothing and Masters of the Air, it’s about time the Irish actor got his flowers.

As party season draws ever closer, it feels like the perfect time to discuss Anthony’s red-carpet style, because the man has a failsafe formula that works every time. You will need: a two-piece suit, a shirt and an unassuming smart shoe (Oxfords, derbies, loafers etc). Easy, right? Now here’s how he does it.

Unlike Arthur Guinness’ complex life, Anthony keeps his formal looks simple, which is great for outfit-repeating when all those festive plans start to come in. He almost always opts for a single-breasted suit – this sateen one at the House of Guinness premiere in London is a perfect example – and pairs it with a statement shirt. In this case, that means supple silk in a deep midnight blue. Oh, and you need to unbutton the shirt a little – it adds to the nonchalant feel.
