Maya, congrats on the new role! We’re so excited for you 💋 Let’s talk makeup – how would you describe a classic Maya look?
Thank you! A classic Maya makeup look would be a winged liner, corner lashes, LOTS of mascara, big bronzy, lifted cheeks with a bit of blush, and then a brown lip liner with gloss.

Can’t go wrong. Do you have any beauty items that you couldn’t go without?
It used to be eyeliner, but now it’s lip liner – I feel like I'm lost without one! So, lip liner and Rimmel’s Scandaleyes eyeliner [ed note: back in stock soon!].

LOVE 💞 You're booked and busy! How do you keep your makeup looking fresh all day and into the evening too?!
It’s in the name. No, that's really cringe. But seriously, Rimmel’s Long Lasting Foundation is ideal because I do start really early, and after I finish work, I never really want to go home. So, it can carry on until the early hours and the makeup stays put. It's such a great foundation because you don't have to reapply. I love that.

Maya with her Rimmel London travel essentials... More to come, over on our IG @asos 👀

Who's got time for that, right? 😂 Do you have any other Rimmel faves?

I like a little bit of a travel and I like a ‘no makeup makeup’ look when I do. Like, ‘oh my god I woke up like this’ vibe on a plane... So, Rimmel’s Kind and Free Tinted Moisturiser is perfect for a bit of hydration and a bit of coverage, too. And I love a gloss in the air – the Oh My Gloss! is just *mwoah*. Lovely applicator and it comes in loads of colours.

Rimmel’s famous for helping us 'Live the London Look'. Sooo, what's your favourite thing about living in London?
There's just so much to do every single night. Even if it's a Monday, you can go to a thousand places. I've been to some cities where you can't do anything on a Monday, you’ve just got to sit in.

No thanks 🚫 What's your favourite pre-drink for a night out? And your go-to song to put everyone in a good mood?
I like a tequila pineapple. It used to be called a Craig David as a shot, but I've made it a cocktail 🍹 And the perfect song before a night out – and in glam to get everyone going – is... Prospa by Goddard. It's a drum-and-bassy vibe, but it's very fun.

We’ll be trying both this Friday 🥂 Can you name one makeup trend you've been dying to try?
Oh, I saw this on TikTok recently: eyelash strips, but under the eye instead of on top of the eye. Apparently then you can't see the strip. I haven't tried it yet, so I need to test it out in real life. I've been seeing the girlies use it and it looks hard, but good.

Oooh, we’re gonna have to try this, too! Last up: you always come across so positive and confident. Can you give ASOSers any tips?
I think having good people around you is a big confidence booster. Nobody feels good all the time and if you've got good people around you, they'll encourage you. And little pep talks! I do pep talks if I'm feeling rubbish. I'll go to the mirror and say: 'Remember why you're doing this.' That's kind of weird, but a little talk-to-myself moment, it uplifts me. Also, if I’m feeling a bit low, I always write down the things that I'm thankful for or grateful for.

Thanks Maya 💞 You can shop her Rimmel recommendations below – and keep your eyes peeled for new drops and some très fabulous campaigns veeery soon.
