Hi Mimi! Your Insta is full of amazing looks – how important is style to you on and off the stage?
When I’m wearing a look I love, it makes me feel confident. When I’m on stage and something fits me well, that’s when I can switch on the *star* vibes and really give it my best for the audience. Style is important in my day-to-day, too. I meet so many new people through my job, and having confidence in those circumstances is just as important.
What’s the difference between your everyday and main-stage looks?
It’s all about going glitzy, a bit more… out there. I want to make sure that when I step out on stage people are like, 'Wow, that’s a look.' Jewellery is a big thing too, it adds some spice to my day thing and elevates my stage look 💎
So, which PUMA Mayze colourway is your fave?
They’re all so comfy, but I’ve been wearing the black and white colourway the most. Altho, there’s a nude pair with a really cute stripe that I’ve brought on tour with me too.
How would you style the new sneaks?
They’re perfect for mixing with both sporty and cute outfits!
Tell us – how long have you been singing for exactly?
I started when I was about eight. I knew I wanted to be an artist, so when I finished my GCSEs, I went to music college and really focused on making this career work🎤
How would you describe your sound?
Very ballad-y and emotional, but with an upbeat fun vibe. I like taking the saddest stories and turning them into an energetic tune.
It’s a 'nice top and joggers' vibe. It's gotta be comfy, but I also wanna look cute.
Is there a dream venue you’d like to perform at?
I’d love to play at Madison Square Garden, but I think performing in a stadium – any stadium – would be absolutely incredible ✨
Was there a single moment where you realised your music career was taking off?
I think it’s when I dropped Good Without and I started seeing the crazy numbers on TikTok, and my fanbase grow 📈 I definitely had a sense that things were on the up from there.

Justin Bieber, he’s amazing. I know everyone loves him but yeah, he was incredible. I’ve also seen some other great artists, too – Post Malone and Ariana Grande stick out in my mind for sure.
What kind of gigs do you love the most?
As a fan it’s all about smaller gigs, but as a performer, I prefer playing bigger shows and at festivals. My fave as a fan was Coachella and my fave to perform was Boardmasters... Glastonbury is on the list for me next year, though ⛺️
