NEW SERIES: FIT CHECK

There’s a new content series in town, bby! We're calling it Fit Check and it’s all about seeing how some of our fave styles work on different body shapes. For this first edition, we’re taking a peek at the wonderful (and wild 🤠) world of festival fashion 🎉 From mini magic to crochet craziness, we chatted to the models on shoot to find out how they make it work for them.
ASOS models in co-ord set

Paris (5ft9 and wearing size 18), Elizabeth (5ft10 and wearing size 8), and Sheerah (5ft3 and wearing size 8) in the ASOS DESIGN strappy cut out mini dress, £26.

One look at these 'fits and you know the festi vibe this year is fire-AF 🔥 A short dress/chunky boot combo is a win for everyone (plus your feet will stay dry).

And of course, when it comes to festi looks, you're gonna want to make sure it's comfortable – cos you'll be rocking it all day (or weekend, maybe?!). Our genius models have coined the 'sit-down test,' which will help you figure out if there'll be material digging in at any stage. This ASOS DESIGN dress comes in a super-stretchy fabric, so it's perf for sitting, and dancing, and drinking, and eating - the lot! Sheerah was searching for a comfy, "elaborate look" with fringing, pattern clashes or something extra about it  and this dress is one big tick ✅

ASOS models in crochet co-ord

Iona (5ft wearing a size 4), Paris (5ft9 wearing size 18), and Elyshia (6ft wearing size 16) in the ASOS DESIGN crochet co-ord, starting from £32.

Paris' festival MO is avoiding any "chafing", and says: "If I'm gonna be jumping around, I don't want boob slippage or straps cutting into my shoulders". That's why she'd usually opt for a crop top with more coverage, like the crochet co-ord 🔥 If you're gonna be wearing a dress or skirt, we recommend layering it with a pair of exercise shorts to reduce the risk of chaffage - and flashing mid-mosh pit 🤘

The only thing that determines what Iona wears is her mood. For festivals, she wants "to experiment." That sometimes means an oversized vibe, other times it's bright and tight clothing – case in point the co-ord above. Side note: you can effortlessly wipe a pair of DMs down after a muddy festival – v handy 🧼

Iona (5ft wearing a size 4), Paris (5ft9 wearing size 18), and Elyshia (6ft wearing size 16) in the ASOS DESIGN waistcoat and pleated skirt co-ord, starting from £26.

If you’re anything like Elyshia and wanna keep cool – sandals/boots and a mini are IT, and the same goes for a crochet set. Plus, you can pop a cute sports bra/crop top underneath and take the top layer off when things get a bit sweaty 💦

"I want something short and plenty of chunky jewellery for a festival", says Elizabeth. She KNOWS it's the ideal time to try something new, so her 'fits are more out-there than usual. Her tip: don't be afraid to try new shapes, styles and designs – go for the super-short skirt, the mesh top with the bra, or the exercise shorts if you haven't already. As long as you feel comfy and ✨fabulous✨, that’s all that matters.

Keep your eyes peeled for the wedding-themed second edition of 'Fit Check' – coming soon ☀️
